[Unfortunately for Satan, there's only three things that Fred is inherently cynical about. 1: the idea that families are supposed to love each other. 2: that adults can be trusted to do anything right themselves when they tell kids to stay out of something. 3: That most situations can be explained by someone in a mask who's either desperate, rich, extremely intelligent, or all of the above.

Speaking of desperate and rich:]

How'd you do that? Did you scare off all the other people at the country club by dressing as a monster and drive away all the clientele they had before, so they had to let you in? Oh- or maybe you just broke into the owners' homes and scared them into letting more people into the club! Or- oh, did you start kidnapping big-name golfers and guests and make them pay you to return them, and then use that money to buy your way in?
