I think, technically, my lyre was less mine, precisely, and more owned by my employer, so that may have been part of the problem. [ Not that it'll do Hades much good without someone to play it. ]
I will keep that in mind, though, if and when I choose to venture forth from this place. And I do play a few other instruments, mainly the kithara and the aulos - though, oddly enough, I have not seen or heard either since my arrival here, even with the ever-present music that seems to play wherever any of us go. It is very strange, isn't it? I scarcely recognize the instruments being played, and, if I may be so bold, I do consider myself somewhat well-traveled and experienced in various forms of music.
