[ Anyone who happens to be at the Ruins of Alph will find Akira standing next to a tall patch of grass. He's looking down at his PokeGear, tinkering with it with a slightly bewildered expression on his face. After a moment, he holds it up to his ear, as if he's...listening to something?
If you get closer, you'll hear something distorted coming out from his PokeGear. He listens to it intently, letting it play out...until he lowers his PokeGear and blinks at it. ]
...Well, that was weird.
[ Then, he'll turn to the person hovering nearby (you!) and say: ] You heard that too, didn't you?

I have a question. Pokemon seem to be able to understand us, but we can't directly understand them.
[ Then, he follows this up with a picture of a Toxel. A grumpy-looking fellow with his tongue sticking out. The little purple guy doesn't seem thrilled about being photographed. ]
Help me figure out how to turn his frown upside down.
[ He doesn't have much experience with handling animals that he can't directly speak to (thanks, Morgana) so. ]
