Kay | Pokemon Xenoverse (Fangame | Some mild game spoilers potentially)

A) Network/Route 29

[There's this feeling you get once you've reached a milestone. The end of a journey. A sense of "What happens now?" "This all feels too good to be true", and so on. Turns out, all of those feelings Kay had been grappling with the last three months weren't unwarranted. Waking up in the bedroom of your parent's home isn't exactly odd for Kay, but the fact that his Mom is not his Mom is VERY odd. He doesn't even have the opportunity to get a word in edgewise before he's been evicted, which was a lot more than he could say for how he had to escape through the window to start his journey the first time.

And the Pokeball on his bedside table was not familiar at all, nor is the little Pokemon he releases from it. Not just in never having met, but he's reasonably sure the little rabbit was of a species he'd never before seen in his life.

Oh dear.

Not one to jump to panic, he took to the routes immediately to head for the first big city with his new Scorbunny partner riding happily on his shoulders. The little guy could tell that this was a seasoned trainer he'd been partnered up with just from the way he handled him, but that didn't mean Kay was any less worried. Where was Trishout...?

Eventually he decides to take to the Network with his Gear, a much more outdated form of Pokedex and device functionality compared to what he's used to back in Eldiw, but it would have to do.]

If anyone out there can hear me...what region is this?

[It's unfortunate it's not Johto and not Kanto, or else he would have at least had some familiarity with it.]

B) Goldenrod

[The treck to Goldenrod had been a long one, but it's by no means a disappointment once Kay arrives there. It reminds him of Hypelion City in a lot of ways, huge and bustling and with it's own mega-mall type establishment to boot. He could go straight there to see what sorts of offerings it had, but instead he chooses to find a bench near the city's center to sit. Mainly, he wants to do some Pokemon watching to get a feel for the types that live in Johto. It's already apparent to him that the X Pokemon aren't a phenomenon here, which is a relief. Many of Eldiw's unique species aren't here either, just as much as there are some he's never seen before.

That much is true of the Meowth he's petting that happened to wander up onto the bench beside him, purring and batting at the zipper of his coat. Anyone nearby might notice Kay talking to himself quietly, or- more specifically- to the Meowth.]

I've never seen a Meowth like you before.
