[There are... a lot of things Atsushi doesn't understand about what's happening. He has a weird cat following him, while he himself is not currently a weird cat, or even weird cat adjacent. None of the numbers he types into the phone -- not the one he'd had beside him when he'd gone to bed the previous night -- seem to be working, either. He does wonder if that has to do with the device he's typing them into, of course -- it's far... different than any phone he's ever used, and he was still trying to grasp the features on his own little flip device.
He also has no idea where New Bark Town is in relation to Yokohama.
By some stroke of luck, he manages to access the network. And while there's a few minutes of awkward squinting at the screen (accompanied by awkward, almost deafening silence), he eventually realizes that the device is recording, and he should probably say something.]
Ah -- Hello? I was hoping to get directions back to the city. Yokohama, to be exact. I'm not sure how I ended up here, but I think I'm late for work and I don't think my coworkers will be very happy about that.
b. Action
[If Atsushi made a list of things he'd never done before, camping would probably be at the top. And while he's slept outside before with less preparation, he still... isn't sure what he's supposed to do for himself in the woods. Currently, he's hunkered over a pile of wood, trying to light it on fire.]
I think... The device said you were a fire type? He speaks, of course, to the black and red cat beside him. Said cat only licks his paw and rubs it over his ear.] You're sure you can't make a fire?
[The cat simply shrugs, or comes as close to it as it can. The Litten, of course, could use ember. It just chooses not to. And Atsushi, clearly not knowing better, simply passes it off as a lost cause. It isn't long before he's back to clanking rocks together.
Somewhere in the midst of it all, the cat might sneeze. And if a spark just so happens to catch on the tinder? Well, who's to say it wasn't just Atsushi, finally getting it right. He pumps his fist like it's his doing, anyway.]
