[Everything is happening so much. Ochako very distinctly remembers she was not asleep, or in a bed, or even indoors before waking up, and the shock is pretty damn stark. She was out of patrol, it was winter break, and she was doing her Work Study with Tsuyu and Nejire and Ryukyu's Agency. She was fighting villains and getting in more experience and training before the end of their break. That's what Ochako remembers...not all this.

This is not her room, this is not her house, and that most certainly is not her mama. Hell, Ochako's barely sure the pajamas she's wearing are even hers at this point. So many thoughts and questions are buzzing and darting around in her head, but she barely has time to ask a single one of them before she's told to get dressed, given a bag and a weird...she guesses it's kind of like a phone? It looks similar enough to her cellphone that she'll register it as such. A-Anyway, after being told...barely anything that makes a lick of sense to her, really, Ochako is all but shunted out the door and left to her own devices, dazed and...still very, very confused.

Not to mention alone.

Or, well...not entirely alone. During the nonsensical spiel that floated over her head worse than anything her quirk could accomplish, Ochako was introduced to her new companion and Pokemon Partner - a soft, pink marshmallow of a Pokemon she's told is called a Cleffa. At the very least, the small creature looks about as nervous as she does, and offers a small bit of comfort in that it meeps insistently at her to be picked up and cuddled - something the young teenage girl is more than happy to oblige to. But now that she's on her own, with her Pokemon, she's really...not sure what to even do.]

Mmh...I-I wonder if Tsu-chan is here somewhere, too? O-Or Nejire-senpai? [Ochako's grip on her Cleffa tightens a little, and the plush creature meeps again, wiggling more.] S-Sorry!! Maaah, this is all so weird...let's look around a little, yeah? Um...Cleffa?

[She was told she can nickname the Pokemon, too, but a name hasn't really come to her just yet, so Cleffa is simply Cleffa...for now.]

[Welp, exploring the town came up with little to no answers, and none of her friends seem to be anywhere in sight. Ochako is a little more panicked now than she was before, because she well and truly has no clue what's going on, and now no contact with her friend and mentor?? Yeah, she's a wee bit twitchy, but thinks the best course of action is to get on her feet and just...march forward. Maybe the next town over can give her a bit more detailed information on just what in the heckie deckie is going on. Is this some sort of weird, quirk-induced fever dream she's having? It'd explain why her own quirk is useless here, and the absurdity of all this... Everything reads like a video-game, or a manga of some sort...

Regardless, she and her Cleffa make their way together out of town and go exploring. It's barely twenty minutes of walking together that Ochako learns, very quickly, that the critters here in this world are not as friendly as the one she was given. They are almost instantly accosted by an angry pair of Starly, who were nesting nearby. The angry little birds swoop and peck at the two, and Ochako yelps and shields her eyes and face, swatting at the dumb birds to go away while also trying to rush away as well.

She's just about to pick up her Pokemon and race away as fast as possible, but little Cleffa manages to absolutely nail one of two Starly with a hard and rather precise SMACK. The Starly pinwheels in the air and hits the ground, dazed and confused. Clearly no one was expecting the little creampuff to actually strike back like that! But it looks indignant, huffy, and waves its small arms threateningly as it meeps at the remaining bird to back off, because it's not going down with a fight!!]
