Hermione blinked, taken aback. He was obviously pretty freaked out over the Weedle. She tilted her head at Nimbus, who took the hint and hopped over to the Weedle. If it was angry and going to attack, it would probably think twice about going up against an Altaria. Not that Nimbus looked especially frightening right now. In fact he was cooing at the bug.

Hermione rolled her eyes, turning back to the panicked boy.

"Hey, don't worry, my Altaria has got it covered," she replied, kneeling down next to him to try and calm him down.

"Maybe it was just trying to make friends, or maybe you annoyed it somehow?"
