The absol was probably more bewildered than Yuuri was. It scrambled as gracefully as possible off of the young King and moved away and off to the side.

"Aahh I didn't know that was going to happen," Yuuri said sheepishly as he rubbed st his aching chest and felt embarrassed. He didn't hesitate in taking the offered hand and pulled himself up. "Thanks," he said gratefully while brushing himself off.

"I'll have to remember for next time to face it away," Yuuri said before looking at his pokemon. "Are you okay, Aki?" he asked his absol and smiled in relief when he got a nod in return.
