[Levi wasn't expecting the other to salute in return. It had been more of a formality and habbit for himself.]

[He kept a side eye glance on Togepi as it trilled a greeting. It didn't appear shy at all in runnning up to Foudre. That was something Levi was going to have to becareful with. It seemed to see everyone as it's friend.]

Are all Pokemon this sociable?

A Titan is a very tall distorted version of a human. They aren't intelligent and feed on humans.

... Oh, um gee. That's awful.

[This guy must be from a nightmarish world. No wonder he's not impressed by cutesy things.]

That's one way to describe it. Having a pet let alone a creature like a Pokemon wouldn't go far where I'm from. This is feels pretty lavish.

Yeah, I get that. But for now, I'm afraid you'll have to play along. Maybe there's even some other people from your world here.

[He actually looks...if not embarrassed, at least awkward, not looking directly at her either. Of course she has no reason to wish for his assistance, not when their short acquaintance had been little but antagonistic on both their sides. It was foolish of him to think otherwise, and all to easy to think of things rosier than what they had been, especially when the other party was no longer present to call it into question.]

[He turns so some of the rest of his team is in frame, a Flygon, two Ninetales, one snow white and the other pale gold, and a Corviknight.]

Just because he does not understand the way you say something does not mean he does not understand what you are trying to convey.

[Mind, Ysayle is no chocobo whisperer herself, but sometimes it's not language used that gets the point across. Sometimes it's tone.]

The creatures of this world are different than what you and I are accustomed to. To me it seems an unfair comparison. The circumstances are distinctly different.

[He's kinder than she is, in that respect. Ysayle, for just a moment, reconsiders how she's been calling her lapras and decides that she will continue to do as she intends to. Yet that is the uncompromising way she can sometimes be.]

Are there others here who are capable of determining whether this creature is a he or a she?

[If she's stuck with it, it'll probably need a name. Knowing what it is will likely help.]

[Lady Dangoulain. She can't determine if she likes that more or less than 'Lady Iceheart.' Both are undoubtedly her. Both come with implications of history and the present. Both lead her precisely to where she is now. Her knowledge on Aymeric is sparse. It's not as though they've ever been terribly close.

She can't say she knows what he thinks of her, especially based on anything he's learned. What... is an Aymeric of the future she was robbed like? She can't even begin to speculate. She finds herself in the same position she's in with Estinien—at a grave disadvantage. Things are distinctly different and she can't understand why or how.

Eventually, she sets her attention back onto him, ignoring the way her lapras attempts to make its way into her lap. It just wants to be a part of things, too. Or maybe it wants to comfort her. Hard to say.]

Would you. [It's not really a question. Ysayle studies him for several long moments, thinking perhaps if he were at the head of Ishgard when she needed their home most, she might not have endured all she had. All she can do is speculate and do her best not to feel overly bitter.] Yes. I suppose you would. Yet you have only just arrived. I would not wish to burden you.

[This meeting, a reunion, if she wants to call it that, is a strange one. When she thinks of Estinien, she thinks of a cold man. One she might have considered cruel and unkind. A man she couldn't turn with her pleas of reason and rationale. To have even an offer of kindness from him? Who is he? This man with the same voice she remembers so easily disparaging the things she'd believed in.

How easy it could be for her heart to lodge its way into her throat. Her feelings where Estinien are involved are immensely complicated.

She puts them aside. She has to. Her attention turns back onto him and the rest of his team. He's serious. He's been here long enough to have... quite the collection of animals. She never would have taken him for the sort.]

I have— [Ysayle begins before she clears her throat.] —I have no shortage of questions. [How is she alive, for instance? What does he last recollect? What will happen when she returns home? When will she return home? Many questions that in one way or another, she fears the answers to.]

I would not burden you with them.

I'm guessing you could probably find out at a Pokemon Center. Most of the towns have those, and there's a couple more at out of the way places too, I think.

[Truthfully, Aymeric hardly knows what to make of his own thoughts on Ysayle. Doubtless, her actions -- intentional or otherwise -- had led to the deaths of not just his men, but no small amount of innocent souls both within Ishgard's walls and Coerthas abroad. Yet even by that same logic, he knows that the same could be said of him. Regardless of intention, he had not only been ignorant to the truth, but had taken precious few steps to change that.

Things had been drastically different, just a few months ago. The truth had come to light, and change had been thrust upon them all. Yet even that was a luxury, built upon yet another pile of blood and bones -- only this time Ysayle's had been among them. Even forward progress was a privilege.]

'Tis no burden at all. [He answers without thinking, but finds he doesn't regret the words even as they hang in the air.] Nay, I would daresay it would be an honor to travel in your company. If nothing else, we have much and more to discuss, and this is hardly the best avenue through which to do so.

[The corner of his mouth quirks upward into a faint smile. Had Estinien only just said something similar to him, no less than a fortnight ago? The only difference is the tension that might have existed between the two of them. One that he quickly seeks to put to rest.]

You deserve to know of the peace your legacy has brokered between ourselves and the Dravanians.

[It seems like it's been a lifetime, a lot has changed since she last saw him, nevermind since they've traded words. He's changed, he knows. Then there's this place returning him to his animal husbandry roots, even if Pokemon are far more capable of maintaining themselves than karakul.]

If anything, Ratatoskr and I can fly back to fetch you. Aymeric and I are traveling with two others from our world, you will not have met G'raha Tia, though perhaps G'rhyf? They are the Warrior of Light, though I did not know them as such.

You would not be obligated to travel with us further, though you would be welcome.

[For now Levi is trying his best to handle people. They weren't underminding him or trying to deflect his cause. Most were simply trying to help him understand this new transition. Did he like it, not in the slightest.]

[Ysayle lingers on the proverbial olive branch he offers her. Not once, now. But twice. When she digs beneath the surface of herself, she is quite aware that beneath the ideal of peace and unity, she has longed for companionship, sentenced to a very specific kind of solitude as a result of her experiences and her actions.

Travelling with all of them, at its very core, does not sound horrendous. Yet long has it been that she has taken in the extended companionship of others aside from her followers and the Dravanians, for though she spent no shortage of time in the companionship of the Warrior of Light, Estinien, and little Alphinaud, the comparison is unfair, at best.

She looks... conflicted. Perhaps as she ever has, never fully expressing her concerns, but wearing them plainly.]

I am not familiar with either. It is not the Warrior of Light of which I recall. [But she understands that they have likely experienced something very similar. She will need to not discount those experiences simply because they were not with this very specific version of herself.] It seems unwise to speak on the behalf of the others. If you are certain... mayhap I will travel with you all for but a time.

[As inconspicuously as she can muster, that is.]

[An honour? It's a strange thing to hear someone say that. Someone like him especially. Aymeric has few reasons, in her opinion, to treat her with such reverence. Although her intentions good, Ysayle regrets the steps taken to get to where she desired. Her final acts were as a form of absolution. Atonement. Now that she is here, she can't claim to have done either of those things.

Or perhaps she has not the arrogance to do so.

Regardless, Aymeric sounds serious. Estinien has offered not once, but twice at least for her to join with them. That they might all travel together. The interests there may align. She can, at the very least, agree that the video devices, though a foreign convenience, are impersonal at best. And she is not an open woman, by any means. Likely happenstance is that any words she and Aymeric exchange beyond expected niceties are not the sorts she would wish random others to pay witness to.]

My legacy...? [The knit of her brow is transparent. She would not call it that.] You refer to my— [Flaws. Imperfections. Errors. Shaken and shattered beliefs.] If such things paved the way for providence, then it was all I had ever wanted. In that have I ever remained resolute. I am... grateful to hear of it.

I see. If it to be staying with me against my wishes, then I suppose I must needs see to it.

Is there other necessary information you would see fit to provide to one who has only recently arrived?

[Radley supposes everyone has things they want to get back to, so they wouldn't be shooting down what Levi is concerned about. It definitely sounds like a huge and legitimate concern. He's glad that the war in Crash Town ended before he was taken himself, so he doesn't have that burden on him.]

Yeah, I'd say so.

[He ponders.]

I don't know how used you are to staying outdoors, but a tent would be good if you don't have one yet. Some of these paths are longer than they look on the map. There's a giant forest I bypassed altogether because I wasn't up for that kinda trek. It takes several days to get through it, and the trees are so thick the sun doesn't come through. It always looks like night in there, or so they say. There's several big caves and mountain paths too.

[Jean's eyes widened as he realized Levi was even further down the timeline than he was. It had been so long since he was last able to talk to anyone that could truly understand all the crap he had pent up, he thought it was going to be like this forever!]

Sir, you have to tell me, what the fuck is Eren doing? What happened that night?

[Ulaz was also keeping an eye on them. Even though he had not had Foudre long, he had learned of her kind's tendency to want to chase things for as long as possible (poor caterpies...) and also that if something stood up to them, they'd likely retreat. He, of course, wanted to make sure that she was not behaving in such a manner to another's partner, especially when all it clearly wanted was to be friends.

So he was pleased to see that Foudre had no such intentions and went up to Togepi happily and gave it a little nuzzle]

It seems to depend on the individual and perhaps on the kind as a whole. I have noticed that generally they are sociable. Foudre seems to be less sociable with wild Pokemon, but is better with ones that have a trainer.

[Maybe because chasing around wild pokemon was free game since only her partner could object to that]

[Not that he didn't want to reshare these memories, but he knew that Jean needed to understand since the time line was pretty confusing and Eren had gone AOWL and was barely making sense.]

[Fair enough. Jean didn't want Armin to hear this either. He'd conveniently left Eren's movements out of his explanation to him when he first arrived, as he felt that it would only torment Armin needlessly. He reined himself in for the moment.]

Do you know where you are? I have a fast flier that can get me anywhere in short order.

Since the Pokemon are wild it makes sense. They're more confrontational and probably stronger in some cases. Unless the Pokemon is trained then it will be treated differently. I think too it depends if the Pokemon is young verses being older.

[Levi commented as he continued to observe the two Pokemon playing. It looked as if Foudre was going to treat Togepi gently sensing it being a baby. Nor was Togepi being too rough or toddling off where it shouldn't.]
