Bertolt wasn't exact a friend was he, but at the same time, could Armin think of him as an enemy knowing what he knew about what him, Annie and Reiner had gone through. Certainly they had lied to them and caused great suffering, but they hadn't really been more than tools in those decisions, hadn't they?]

Ah, someone I used to know owned a Growlithe. You've probably seen those, right? The fire-breathing dogs?

I was there when he evolved his Growlithe. Unfortunately, the Growlithe managed to get a hold of the Fire Stone before either of us noticed and well--

[ the child is enraged, and rock can't help but blink, eyes widened by the whole ordeal. well. that's not something he expected, but he might as well calm the child down. can't have them drawing attention to both of them. ]

Calm down, screaming at the lady won't solve anything. I've already tried.

[ take that! he’s already gathering his things, including his penguin in his arms, before he fixes the pokegear up to get their faces while they walk.

Oh yeah? [Wrong move, cause she's with drawing the geodude. Who was still just flexing in the back. Starting to move through patch of forest she'd been training in.]

Uh-huh... [Doubt? Maybe a little bit of doubting here. But she gave a little shrug, shoulders falling.]

[ It was a nice day, Yuzu had thought to herself. Not a cloud in the sky, the forecast predicting clear skies, and…

…not raining Rhyhorn, she thought, but she supposed that even the forecast can be wrong sometimes.

…hey wait a minute— ]

gYAAH!!?

[ Yuzu could swear she saw her life flash before her eyes, but fortunately, habit kicked in while she was still processing the sight of a Rhyhorn charging directly off of the ledge she had been sitting at the bottom of, and thus throwing herself as far out of the way as possible right before a 120kg rock rhino slams into the ground way too close to where Yuzu had just been for comfort.

At least the Rhyhorn seems… mostly fine? Not great, but fine? They sure are sturdy, huh… ]

[ a big sigh!! and her— rock with arms? why is a rock with arms flexing—

poppie can’t flex her flippers. she looks awfully bothered by this. ]
