To begin with, you're presuming a lot if your first assumption is that all otherworlders here are 'conscripted'. Even 'kidnapped' arguably implies considerably more forethought and planning than seems to be at play.

Which is to say, while there are many theories, none satisfactorily explain our presence in this world. It seems likely it's more due to some manner of fluke than anything.

And, I should add, yes, many people have asked or attempted to learn more on the subject over the past decade or more, to no avail. If it's something you wish to investigate, I would recommend speaking with those who've been here some time before leaping to conclusions.
