Not really. I don't really know anyone who has had that kind of procedure done.

... but that part wouldn't. What a drag. You can't even walk wherever you want to. What would they do if you stepped outside of the designated area?

Not even "plastic surgery?" Or those with false limbs? That still falls under augmentation.

I would be arrested. Thankfully I had the highest level of clearance in my world so I didn't need to worry about that.

Can you really compare those sorts of things to becoming a cyborg? Well- I mean.. if someone got a poor nose job, I would have a hard time not pointing it out. An amputee would be different.. like there's a line on what you can make fun of.

[Chazz misses the point anyway, since people have always picked up on differences in others and made commentary about it. That wasn't the same as like.. actual hatred. That was just being observant. Yeah. That.]

Yes but what if you were that person who lost a limb and some child started making fun of you? Or you had a bad surgeon and they ruined your face?

You can't just have people running around as living weapons. It frightens the average citizen, you know.

Then.... I'd find a way to shut them up for good.

Not that I'm encouraging it... but if cyborgs are so powerful you'd think they'd be the ones in charge making the rules not taking them. This stuff is too complicated...

And there are many people in power are cyborgs, whether their entire body has been replaced or they simply have minor implants. The world is complicated though, yes. Do not fret over it as none of those rules apply here.

[He looked to the pokegear for a moment] Some of them are handheld units like this, only instead of showing you just a map, you'd have a little sprite character that you could move around on the screen using the buttons. [There. Perfect. Can you tell he doesn't play them much, either?]

Are your siblings old enough to look out for themselves... because some of mine, aren't.
