On the one hand, he's seen Krieg with Angel and he's had Krieg help him, so to some degree, he trusts Krieg. Like, he isn't expecting Krieg to just randomly snap outta nowhere and go all serial killer psycho on their asses and eat their babies. And Krieg has also shown himself very dependable in a lot of ways and takes good care of his pokemon.
There is also still a part of him that is wary of Krieg though, because he feels that of the people he's known here, he is among those that could most easily turn dangerous. Not under normal circumstances, but more like... what if something happens to Angel? What if she gets taken by Jack or leaves this world? Could they still control Krieg then? It doesn't help that Athena has gone who he sorta saw as someone who could've subdued him if needed. Krieg is obviously a man of many pecs, so clearly physically restraining him is going to be out for them. Could any of them talk him down if he was in a rage? He just doesn't know, which is why there is part of him that will remain wary of him.
That said. In terms of general day to day interactions -- Armin definitely has stopped with the nervous twitching. Again, he has learned to trust Krieg in normal circumstances. There is sometimes a bit of awkwardness because... Krieg talks Krieg. And it is hard for Armin to understand him sometimes, especially when he doesn't have Pandora as a reference point. So conversations between them can get a bit halting especially when Armin normally talks with many big words. He likes observing Krieg when he is wrassling with all his pokemon. He appreciates that Krieg will do that cause obviously he cannot wrestle with Magellan, but Magellan loves to wrestled with. So enter uncle Krieg!
Also. Super not related. But I know Krieg has one Moby Dick quote in the game, and sometimes I just want Armin to read poke Moby Dick and just be confused with the reference. Like wait. Does Krieg know this book?
