[ Mari's a ditz. She isn't stupid, but she is most certainly the definition of someone who is easily amused and impressed by simple things. She also has an eye for color. She pulls herself up from the water and hobbles over to the ledge to sit with this 'Stanford Pines' she has roped into a conversation with her. ]

I think she's just gorgeous...! Hi there, Idunn~ [ She reaaaaaches all the way over with her hand out as if to offer for a dog to sniff. ]

A catchphrase, yeah. Like something you say when you're about to battle or introduce yourself to show off! I dunno, I thought it'd be fun since that's kinda different. I'm still learning.

And it's lonely when you're traveling. It gives me something to do and think about. You've been here a long time, huh?

Idunn boops her snoot obligingly right into Mari's hand. She's a very outgoing noodle when it comes right down to it, always eager to meet new friends and experience new things.

Only a year and a half? [ Snoot pat-pat. ] With your fancy pink Pokémon, I would've thought different, Mister Pines. See, I already wanna know if there are more water guys like Spinel here~ I'm supposed to make more of them according to the book.

I'm not sure if Spinel wants a girlfriend. He's a single kinda guy, I think.

[ So, who wants to see someone who is completely lost on how to use legs on the network? Cos that's what you're getting today folks. The person in question is rather androgynous looking and a little round, wearing grey shorts and a white hoodie with orange circles. Evidently a Pokemon turned on the Gear as the trainer was trying to walk. Very badly.

They got the idea of 'put one foot down, propel forwards'. But did not seem to get the idea of lifting your foot up after you've gone forward. So fell onto their face, expecting...something else to keep them going. ]

How does Poe and Finn and Rey do this?? It's so much easier as a ball! [ There's a crackling of static that definitely sounds like snickering, prompting the person (now on the floor) to turn and give it a pout. ] You're still a ball! You're not allowed to laugh!

[ ACTION ]

Out in the wilderness of an early route, BB-8 set up a camp that night (at least they still had their lighter in their pockets) and stared up at the stars.

What had happened to them? What about the Resistance? Would...would they be able to find Poe and everyone else? They missed all of their friends... BB-8 gave a sad sigh. Could they even help like this? Humans were great yeah, but they were a droid. And it felt like they could do much more as a droid than as a human who barely walk. They couldn't help Poe pilot an X-wing like this!

At their side, their Voltorb rolled over and crackled at them. "I don't...can't you use binary? Any sort of binary? Then I could understand you."

ACTION

"Hey! Pilot! Where do you think you're going??"

The cry came a moment before there was a loud rustling as something moved through the bushes and a moment later BB-8 would find himself staring at a rather fluffed up looking Starly. The little bird had attempted to puff his feathers up as much as possible to try and look intimidating but it really didn't help him much considering how small he was; that wasn't going to stop Pilot from trying though!

Clacking his beak, Pilot hopped forward and spread his wings in a show of dominance. Or something.

Who knows what was going on in the little bird's head?

"Pilot where--" Someone else came out of the bushes then. Someone that probably had sounded familiar to BB-8 and, well, he would definitely look familiar. Poe paused just a few steps behind his partner Pokemon, staring for a moment before he gave a sheepish grin. "Sorry about him, kid. He didn't do anything did he?"

Upon seeing this bird, VB-100 the Voltorb rolled forward and hissed. It would laugh at it's immensely dumb ex-ball human all it liked, but it wouldn't let some bird come in and intimidate them either! BB-8 has edged back from the very fluffy bird (they still had no idea what was up with the wildlife on this planet) but then it's trainer had appeared. Their eyes immediately lit up.

"Poe!!" They immediately tried to run over to him, forgot their legs and fell over. Undeterred they instead rolled over to Poe, coming to a stop by their feet and wrapping their arms around his legs. "Poe, you're here! I missed you!"

[It takes him a second to parse that 'supposed to make more of them' is a very roundabout way of saying 'I'm a breeder'.]

Oh, you never know. He might eventually find someone suited to his tastes. [Whatever those are when you're a genderless starfish alien.] But if you wanted to make more of his species, your only choice would be through a Ditto. You could try with as many other Water-types as you like and you'd never see a single egg.
