Re: Midoriya Izuku
He hadn't even... but that was just like him. Taking a deep breath, he proclaimed in his best muscle voice,] I AM HERE! TALKING THROUGH THE NETWORK LIKE A NORMAL TRAINER!
[In truth, Toshinori was very, very unhappy for Deku to be here. Mostly because whatever cruel fate had brought him here after his fateful battle, he..., All Might, was a Rocket.
HOW CRUEL!]

Midoriya. I am glad you're here. I'm sorry but our contact must remain a secret so far. I am... busy. And I didn't want to burden you.
But that being said, how are you?!
no subject
I'm good. I ran into Kacchan already, too. [Ah, that's right!] All Might, is your quirk gone too?
no subject
[Despite his muscle form, his smile drooped a bit.] Yes, it is. I don't know why, but I'm like this, even without my quirk.
no subject
[That is concerning... Good that All Might isn't in his other form, but concerning.] I see... Then I suppose it will happen to anyone that comes here, then.
no subject
[If he was in his other form, he would be a trainer, not a rocket. This world had a cruel sense of irony.] Indeed. I have heard reports of people with quirks of their own, having been removed, along with any weaponry and mobility powers as well.
no subject
Really? That's... [Kind of amazing, actually. But also worrying.] I wonder how that was accomplished... Someone with a more powerful version of Eraserhead's Quirk? Or maybe some sort of machine for the same effect that activated once we came to this world. But the technology for that would have to extremely advanced, and it doesn't look like we're somewhere with technology more significantly advanced than ours, so it'd have to something hidden from the general public. But explaining the sudden arrival of people while doing so... [And he starts muttering on and on, in his usual way.]

Oi, oi, oi, you're thinking about it too much! Honestly, we can probably just decide it's a blanket thing and no one would have quirks here.
That being said, I know our contact has to be under the table so... want to have lunch? Where are you?

[mostly after he had gotten 'released' from initiation, All Might had headed immediately to Pallet Town to check things out.]
I'll be there shortly.

No leaping heroically into view.
Just walking with the cutest Togepi at his side.]
Yo! Lunch time is a go then?
no subject
He nods in response to All Might's question.] Mmhmm! Ready!
[And look who else has a Togepi, who's waving at All Might's! Twinsies!]
no subject
I've seen a grove over there, we can talk.
[Togepi is cheerfully waving as well.]
no subject
[As they walk, he looks up at All Might to speak.] How long have you been here?
no subject
[Finding the grove, he set out the blanket and sat down cross-legged before retrieving several items of food.]
I woke up in a different place than most trainers. Suffice to say it, it has given me no amount of shame.
no subject
All Might saying he's ashamed of where he woke up, though, surprises him more than a bit.] Eh? Where did you wake up?
no subject
Keep it a secret between us, but I woke up in Team Rocket HQ. I am... a villain. As much as it pains me to admit it...!
[Yeah there's tears of shame there.]

no subject
[Oh man, this was bad. And yet All Might was burying his face in his hands.] How could the Symbol of Peace become a villain in this world due to some arbitrary fate?

no subject
Working on it! I'll have a concrete plan. I might need to spend some time in lockup but if I turn myself in, it might expedite my separation from the organization. Trust me, I haven't done anything bad.
For now, I need to play along. Think of it as heroic undercovering. I don't relish the thought of doing anything bad however. But if I can find some actual work for good, then all the better.
