Effect: Friday, July 8: Flower Gift - All day, despite the season, flowers drift down from the sky. They’re harmless, beautiful, and smell lovely, but if trainers aren’t careful, they might end up trudging through rosedrifts up to their knees before long.
Swarm: Tuesday, July 12: Spinda
Effect: Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17: Worry Seed - Affected characters won’t be able to get any sleep. Does that make your character cranky? Does it damage their brain-to-mouth filter? The effects can last as little or as long as you’d like over this weekend.
Effect/Swarm Double Duty: Friday, July 22: Surf - Large waves appear in all bodies of water, including things like bathtubs and your Sawsbucks drinks (it’s just bean water, you know). Be careful on the ocean, but also, hang ten, dudes! The waves won’t destroy anything, but trainers are going to get wet on this ride. Also, oh god, small jellyfish Pokemon (Tentacool, Frillish, Inkay) happen to be swarming randomly in these bodies of water. GANBATTE, VICTORY ROAD.
Effect: Friday, July 29: Haze - The forecast is misty inside and out on this oddly cool July day. Affected trainers will find it difficult to remember things, whether those happened long ago or just five minutes past. The memories aren’t gone, of course, it’s just…foggy.
Swarm: Sunday, July 31: Illumise and Volbeat

[The video opens to a young woman of dark olive skin and a firm muscular build. She has wide shoulders and strong arms but her face is soft and feminine. Her eyes are bright and yellow and full of curious delight. Nervously a large hand moves to her hair (tight curls and stand out on end, framing her face), pushing it out of the way so she could play with a large stone loop in her ear.]

Greetings and good day.

[She draws back, shyly a moment, but smiling down at her knees.]

I know not what to say. Everything here is so new to me. I give thanks to the pokémon I have met thus far. As well as the mother who packed me a lunch and a travel bag. I have never step foot from the Balmera before now. The beings here have been so welcoming thus far. I look forward to discovering my destiny here.

I look more so towards making friends here. Though... I do not understand. Why do I look so much like my friends, and so little like a Balmeran? It is a queer and curious turn of events. I was assured I am alright but I take very little comfort in that assuredness.

For now, I will press on.

[Flowers:]
[Flowers are new to Shay! Then again so very much is new to Shay, like her new appearance and her new ears, and the lack of her people or the Balmera to speak to. The color of the sky and the color of the ground below them. The strange beings that wander the grasses and tag along with people. The strange little Cubone creature that tags along with her...]

[And right now, the flowers. They seemed to fall from the sky and fall into her hair or into her hands. Soft and pretty. The smell was wonderful as well. Even trying to eat one seemed all right. It had a sweet and earthy taste to it, which was a surprise.]

[Out on a road she spun around, giggling to herself as she stared up at the sky and the falling flowers.] What a wonderful sight! I never knew a sky could cry such sweet things!

[When she looked down again the large woman was sure she saw someone looking at her. She smiled their way and called out to them:] Does this planet always do this? It's amazing!

Well, normally they don't rain from the sky like this, but uh... Well, they are nice.

[The girl just looks so happy that Hunk can't say much outside of that. He's sure he's heard her voice before. Something about her attitude frolicking about in the flowers has him looking at her in curiosity, but he's pretty sure he recognizes her.

...but from where? The Garrison? He particularly remembers being bigger than nearly everyone there, including the girls. Somewhere on Earth? Like that's a thing he can remember; but maybe an old classmate or something, someone from before Voltron, before piloting and air sickness consumed his day to day activities. He smiles and approaches her, figuring if they did know each other, it's good to reconnect; and if they don't, at least he's made a new friend.

As a flower drops on his nose, he brushes it away.]
