Effect: Friday, July 8: Flower Gift - All day, despite the season, flowers drift down from the sky. They’re harmless, beautiful, and smell lovely, but if trainers aren’t careful, they might end up trudging through rosedrifts up to their knees before long.
Swarm: Tuesday, July 12: Spinda
Effect: Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17: Worry Seed - Affected characters won’t be able to get any sleep. Does that make your character cranky? Does it damage their brain-to-mouth filter? The effects can last as little or as long as you’d like over this weekend.
Effect/Swarm Double Duty: Friday, July 22: Surf - Large waves appear in all bodies of water, including things like bathtubs and your Sawsbucks drinks (it’s just bean water, you know). Be careful on the ocean, but also, hang ten, dudes! The waves won’t destroy anything, but trainers are going to get wet on this ride. Also, oh god, small jellyfish Pokemon (Tentacool, Frillish, Inkay) happen to be swarming randomly in these bodies of water. GANBATTE, VICTORY ROAD.
Effect: Friday, July 29: Haze - The forecast is misty inside and out on this oddly cool July day. Affected trainers will find it difficult to remember things, whether those happened long ago or just five minutes past. The memories aren’t gone, of course, it’s just…foggy.
Swarm: Sunday, July 31: Illumise and Volbeat

[The gear turns on to reveal a large human, with tufts of hair that look like a bear’s ears. Rest assured, they aren’t the real thing, but it’s very clear that this person is not used to being a human. He’s standing outside of the starting route, blankly staring out at the grassy area, then back at the camera.]

“Ice Bear woke up here randomly. But why? Ice Bear is no longer a bear either.”

[Speaking of bears, there’s a Cubchoo at his feet, eager to get the journey started by pulling at his trainer’s pant leg. Ice Bear doesn’t budge or show any emotions while this is going on.]

“Why does ice Bear have a mini-Ice Bear as well? Where is Ice Bear’s real brothers?” [And to make a point, he turns off the video for a brief second to show off a drawing he did on the Poke’gear earlier. It’s a basic sketch of a brown bear and a much smaller panda bear playing on a cell phone.]

“Ice Bear wants answers.”

[So, it’s taken Ice Bear a while to get on the road, mainly having to process this whole ‘I’m human now and where’s my family’ feeling. It’s not a good one, and he’s still mad about this whole thing, even if his stoic face doesn’t show it. His new Pokemon companion is taking this fairly well, one adorable Cubchoo is walking next to Ice Bear, eager and happy at the prospect of having a new trainer.]

[The Route narrows, and as far as Ice Bear can see, it’s flooded with Spinda. All those derpy, spinning panda bears seem to have no care that they’re blocking the path. Not even this incident gets the bear-turned-human to break his emotionless gaze.]

“Ice Bear sees the irony in this. Ice Bear is not amused.”

[The question is, what should he do? These Pokemon like to fight, right? Or maybe they can just be shoved out of the way? For now, he’ll just stand and watch the Spinda play, unless someone else has a better idea on what he should be doing.]

[ Mikasa doesn't even blink while she listens to all of that. No reaction at all here. This world turns bears into humans. Okay. ]

I haven't seen them. ...What do bears eat?

[Ice Bear doesn't show it, but he's rather happy that the girl who's responding back to his question is nice. And by nice, meaning she isn't looking down on him or being rude. Even her lack of a reaction doesn't bother him in the slightest, as he replies in the same fashion.]

"Ice Bear will find them eventually. Grizz eats just about everything, likes meat mostly. Panda is vegetarian, allergic to peanuts. Ice Bear loves fish, but isn't too picky."

[He blinks back at her, waiting to see if her demeanor changes.] "What is your favorite food?"
