Effect: Friday, July 8: Flower Gift - All day, despite the season, flowers drift down from the sky. They’re harmless, beautiful, and smell lovely, but if trainers aren’t careful, they might end up trudging through rosedrifts up to their knees before long.
Swarm: Tuesday, July 12: Spinda
Effect: Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17: Worry Seed - Affected characters won’t be able to get any sleep. Does that make your character cranky? Does it damage their brain-to-mouth filter? The effects can last as little or as long as you’d like over this weekend.
Effect/Swarm Double Duty: Friday, July 22: Surf - Large waves appear in all bodies of water, including things like bathtubs and your Sawsbucks drinks (it’s just bean water, you know). Be careful on the ocean, but also, hang ten, dudes! The waves won’t destroy anything, but trainers are going to get wet on this ride. Also, oh god, small jellyfish Pokemon (Tentacool, Frillish, Inkay) happen to be swarming randomly in these bodies of water. GANBATTE, VICTORY ROAD.
Effect: Friday, July 29: Haze - The forecast is misty inside and out on this oddly cool July day. Affected trainers will find it difficult to remember things, whether those happened long ago or just five minutes past. The memories aren’t gone, of course, it’s just…foggy.
Swarm: Sunday, July 31: Illumise and Volbeat

[Hey look guys it's... a hot lady! With a Vulpix in her lap that she's sort of absentmindedly petting. She's sitting on a bench somewhere?]

You know, I'm not used to streaming in a way that's so... safe for work. But I guess when a girl gets sucked across dimensions and already has an ex walking around, it's important to keep it clean, at least for first impressions.

[A sigh. The Vulpix looks up worriedly, and she frames the next section as though she's talking to it and scratching under its chin.]

Oh, sorry, Rubi. It's just been a long day, sugar. Lost my business and all my customers, that woman wanted me to call her mother without even buying me a drink first, you're the only silver lining so far.

[She looks back towards the camera.]

So if someone out there wants to give me a rundown of how this place works, I'd be awful thankful. And if anyone has any tips on how to get myself a liquor license, and where I could set up a bar, I'd make it worth your while~.

[... with a free drink, but she's not about to say that.]

[Rubi's running around her legs, and Moxxi is sort of... walking around. Which could honestly be enough to justify coming up to her, because I mean look at her, but.]

[Well there's a voice she hasn't heard in a while.]

Same old, same old. Beating up giant Vault monsters, settling down with my beautiful wife, fixing up beat up old vehicles down in Hollow Point. The usual!

What about you? Still breakin' hearts?

[But something in there does catch her attention.]

Wife? I didn't take you for the settling down type just yet. Who's the lucky lady? Anyone I know?

[Krieg's mask takes up the whole screen when he flips on the video to respond, because he's developed an (unfortunate) habit of holding the communication device right up to his face when he uses it.]

NO GUNS! NO GRENADES! COCKFIGHTS ONLY!

[That's your rundown, Moxxi. He pulls back from the device a bit, rolling his eye - and then his head - to express his frustration with that particular state of affairs. His next vocalization is a long, drawn-out growl:]

Boooooooring.

[tigergrowl]

[... you know, of the people she expected to see here, Krieg somehow wasn't one of them? This place feels too... intact. Luckily, she does speak Krieg, at least a little.]

That's a shame, sugar, but we are on a civilized planet here. It makes sense they wouldn't want anyone running around shooting up the place, even if it's not very fun. You been finding a way to keep busy? Or is the camera focusing on your pretty face because you don't want me to see a prison wall behind you?

[There really isn't anything in this place that he can legitimately focus his anger on, honestly; the world is full of innocents, and cute animals, and the only person he's met so far who needs to be violently murdered is Handsome Jack, and he is far away in an unknown-to-Krieg location, so. That one bright possibility for some action is only a distant one, at best.

He shakes his head at her last question, and pulls the device even further away from his face so that she can see the lovely blue sky and a few distant trees over his shoulder. Definitely not a prison cell.]

Murder Chicken needs exercise. [His gaze moves away from Moxxi, then down, and to the side, somewhere off camera, before twitching back to the device again.]

It's good enough for now. [Though he grumbles when he says it, indicating that it really isn't.]

[It's always nice to know that some murder machines aren't directionless. Even if they get bored sometimes. Poor guy.]

Murder chicken? I can't believe I'm saying this and it isn't an innuendo, but I would love to see your Murder Chicken, Krieg.

[Moxxi, you slay him. Every time, seriously.

Of course he'll oblige her, and turn the device so that it's transmitting the image of a bright orange and yellow Torchic frolicking close by in what appears to be a burned-out circle of previously healthy meadow grass. When it notices Krieg's attention, it peeps happily and waddles up to him, and then proceeds to shove its little chicken face right up to the camera.

Like trainer like Pokemon, apparently.]

Say helloooooo.

[His voice is a quiet rumble, no doubt more gentle than anyone on Pandora has ever heard. The Torchic peeps enthusiastically at Moxxi, bobbing its little head up and down and blinking cutely.]

[tigergrowl]

[Years of experience on Pandora, you know, you don't get far if you can't slay a psycho or two.]

Hello there, Murder Chicken. You're awful cute, aren'tcha?

[Murder Chicken peeps cheerfully and preens visibly at the compliment. Out of sight for the moment, Krieg breathes out a quiet laugh that quickly rises to a more normal volume.

Well. "Normal" for him.]

NahahahAHAHahah! It breathes fire!

[Also it's warm and fluffy and snuggly and quite good company, but those qualities are all probably pretty obvious.]

Does it now? Well then, I daresay Murder Chicken here sounds just about perfect.

[As if to prove his point, Murder Chicken chooses that moment to belch a little ember. Krieg shifts the device away before it can get burned, though, and flips it back around to face him again.]

[He'd caught a glimpse of the fox but had been more interested in talking to Moxxi, so he hadn't really paid attention.]

[vid-- uh, audio...?]

[Holy shit, it's Moxxi. Oh god. Oh god, okay, he can do this. He just needs to prepare himself. Just take some time and think of something smooth to say.

[--quickly turns it off again. Yeah, enjoy the brief, weird audio clip of nothing but background noise, Moxxi. What's up with that?]

At least now he actually flips the video on to match her.]

[So this is going great already. He nervously clears his throat.]

[So you know. They sure haven't spoken since the whole Eye thing. Ha ha... ha...

Yeah, Tim has no clue how he should be acting about that.]

[Geez, why is it just him who's behind everything, what's up with that? It's getting a little annoying.]

Oh, I've, ah, I've mostly been the same, I guess. Just... great, you know. So great. [It absolutely doesn't sound like he's been great.] B-But uh, I mean, nothing-- nothing exciting there, um. How have you been?
