ALSO, AS PROMPTS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: Last month's mini-events!

Effect: Friday, July 8: Flower Gift - All day, despite the season, flowers drift down from the sky. They’re harmless, beautiful, and smell lovely, but if trainers aren’t careful, they might end up trudging through rosedrifts up to their knees before long.
Swarm: Tuesday, July 12: Spinda
Effect: Friday, July 15 to Sunday, July 17: Worry Seed - Affected characters won’t be able to get any sleep. Does that make your character cranky? Does it damage their brain-to-mouth filter? The effects can last as little or as long as you’d like over this weekend.
Effect/Swarm Double Duty: Friday, July 22: Surf - Large waves appear in all bodies of water, including things like bathtubs and your Sawsbucks drinks (it’s just bean water, you know). Be careful on the ocean, but also, hang ten, dudes! The waves won’t destroy anything, but trainers are going to get wet on this ride. Also, oh god, small jellyfish Pokemon (Tentacool, Frillish, Inkay) happen to be swarming randomly in these bodies of water. GANBATTE, VICTORY ROAD.
Effect: Friday, July 29: Haze - The forecast is misty inside and out on this oddly cool July day. Affected trainers will find it difficult to remember things, whether those happened long ago or just five minutes past. The memories aren’t gone, of course, it’s just…foggy.
Swarm: Sunday, July 31: Illumise and Volbeat

[Merrill's already muddled this up, and the strange woman on the screen is being far too kind about it. She tries to get the screen stable this time - and far enough away from her that at least most of her face is in the frame now.]

Angel, that's a very nice name. I'm Merrill. I'm... not really sure where I am right now, actually, but I think I saw a map before this... broadcast? started.

Why is it called a broadcast? It doesn't seem very broad.

[With the woman's face now in view, Angel takes a moment to look at her. She certainly doesn't look like any Pandoran that she's come across before. There are some curious similarities to the people she's met, however — the tattoos being the main point of interest.]

[She makes a point to bring it up later. For now, she offers a soft giggle, still far too amused by Merrill's apparent cluelessness. It's refreshing.]

It's actually quite broad! Where I come from, we have the ECHOnet, and it is filled with so much information. You just... can't... see how broad!

[Too broad to see? Like a mountain range, or a human city, but full of information instead of bears or buildings?]

So... like a library, but too big to see all the shelves?

[Which sounds like someplace she'd definitely like to be.]

Can I see the rest of it? Of this one, I mean, not yours from home.

Exactly!

[Angel's brows come together thoughtfully. It's not the kind of question she's ever considered. She supposes, in a way, that is possible to see the rest of it. It would take many years, more than she expected either of them to have, but aside from that, perhaps it was possible]

[Of course, the idea of sight was all metaphorical, when it came down to it. It certainly wasn't exactly like perusing a library. You could look at a million pages, but likely never see the spine of the collection.]

[Still, the idea makes her smile.

I can't say for certain, but I would like to think you can.
