[When it comes to towns, the bigger the better? Or in this case, the higher the better. Roxas has been standing in the street as he admires the view of the department store. His Shinx sits beside him and seems just as interested in what his trainer is looking at. The Joltik nesting in the blonds hair seems more interested in watching people walk by.

How creepy is it to have 4 little blue eyes staring at you from a mess of gold locks?]

[Or you find the curious blond all the way on the rooftop. One would think he'd be looking down since he was so into looking up... but Roxas came up here specifically to see what the sunset would look like from a place like this. This time around his Shinx just waddles up to anyone that gets close, mewling as if asking for attention or a treat.

I think, perhaps, that the rubber gloves would be your best option.
There are many examples in this world's entertainment that promote the use of them when handling particularly difficult Electric Pokemon.

The Joltik peeking out of his hair is enough to catch Steve's attention anyway. He points emphatically at the tiny Pokémon, narrowly missing Roxas himself.]

[Six eyes? Roxas blinks and looks confused. The Joltik remains balanced and so it looks like 4 of those eyes are stationary.]

Uh. Yeah. The weird little fuzzy guy?

[Wait. Does he even know it's there? Should he do something?]

It's not, like, mind controlling you, right?

[Reaching up, he gently grabs a small little Joltik from his hair. Then he holds his hand out to present it. There we go. The source of 4 of the eyes.]

You're talking about my Joltik. He likes sleeping in my hair.

[Steve eyes the little creature with trepidation, finally deciding to reach out a singular finger to touch it.]

Aren't you scared you're gonna crush him? He's tiny. You couldn't even win half a battle with him.

Huh? I've won battles with him before! [Joltik with meet that finger with a little leg poke right back.]

He's an electric bug type and a lot stronger than he looks.

[Steve laughs at that comment, scritching the Joltik on his head.]

Yeah, right. Do you put him in bug battles? I bet he does great against ants.

No! In actual Pokemon battles-[JOLTIK HAS TAKEN OFFENSE TO THIS

Prepare to be electrocuted.]

[Steve screeches as the electricity passes through him, teeth clacking shut as his entire body shudders. His finger is away from the offending Pokémon in less than a second, but he's going to be feeling that for a while.]

What the--

What was that for?!

[He sounds extremely offended. What did he do to deserve this?]

[Roxas lets out a long sigh.]

You offended him, and since he can't talk, he showed you what he could do.

[And Joltik will do it again, so show some respect!]

[Frowning deeply, Steve shakes out his hand. He'd almost thought it was cute, in a weird kind of way, but this as definitely jaded his opinion on the little electric type.]

Train him better, Six Eyes. They aren't even allowed to attack people.

[He's not actually sure if that's true, but he's peed off and there is 0% chance he's at fault here.]

[Glancing from his Joltik and then back to the other guy, Roxas shrugs.]

I don't see why they can't attack people. How else would they defend themselves if a person attacks them? Besides, if you'd have insulted me I probably would have done the same.

[If his magic worked.]

And it's Roxas. Not Six Eyes.

[Steve laughs at that, as though it's the funniest thing he's ever heard.]

You? I'm the Palchuk. You couldn't take me.

[Apparently he didn't learn his lesson about judging by appearances from the Joltik. He claps Roxas on shoulder, making sure to avoid touching his Pokémon.]

You're funny, kid. I like that.

[Roxas lets his shoulder be clapped as he raises an eyebrow.]

I don't have reason to fight you. So I'll let you think that right now.

[Putting the Joltik back in his hair, he shrugs.]

I don't know what a Palchuck is, but if you want me to call you that...
