Lol maybe one day it will be big enough to physically restrain her
"I'm not playing a game." What kind of game would someone even play on these weird screen things anyways? "I wanted to see if you can really put you Pokemon in this thing, and it'll keep them for you, like everyone's been saying."
Luckily for the nervous Machop, Domino was more or less placated once the girl stopped touching his trainer. He blew his lips in an exasperated manner at the scrawny Pokemon. Does she do this to everyone she crosses?
Never.
"Oooooh." The sound she makes is one of comprehension, but the vacant look she gives him right after when she scratches her chin proves that literally none of that really got anywhere. "Why would anyone wanna do that? Isn't it better to keep your friends around to play with?"
Oh yes. Really, she hadn't even formally caught him or beaten him in battle. He had, more or less, made the decision to follow her himself because he just couldn't see it going right if she was left on her own. The Machop (named Ruby for those keeping track) glances at his trainer, before looking at Domino, looking slightly helpless. After all, just look at her. Did the other pokemon really think she would be able to be fine on her own?

"It's not like I'd leave them in there forever. It's just a place for them to live while you're traveling, since you can only carry six Pokemon at a time."
He didn't have six Pokemon yet, but Armin told him that it was totally normal to have even more than that, and rotate them in your team depending on the situation.
Oh. One of those. Domino nodded sagely-- He was quite concerned for his trainer when they first met, and probably would have followed him regardless, since he seemed so confused. But he was getting better every day, and Domino wasn't so worried about him anymore.

She spins to regard the computer again, still rubbing her face for a few moments before she holds up her finger. The gesture is so showy, you get the feeling it should come with an audible ping noise of an idea bouncing around inside her skull. "Oh! Maybe it's like when you store something in your gem." She brings her hands together gesturing towards the heart-shaped gem bouncing against her chest, no longer part of her now she is human instead hanging from a thin chain. "You know. You just kinda have to think about it and push."
Oh. That sounds nice. The part where Domino worries less and less about him every day. Ruby's worries have only increased the more he's seen the antics she gets up too. And things only get worse when Spinny the little Mime Jr gets involved.
But, of course, Ruby has always been a nervous nelly. It's why he had never really gotten along with the other Machop and Machoke who had always been far more interested in lifting and breaking heavy boulders rather than wondering if that sort of thing could maybe cause earthquakes.

He'd figured out this whole 'multiple worlds' enough that he could understand that maybe there was some kind of weird magic or technology that allowed Spinel to do what she was describing where she was from. It didn't make a single lick of sense, but he was getting more and more used to shrugging his shoulders and going with the flow since he got here. Someone chould try and explain the intricacies of Pokemon to him until they were blue in the face, and it probably still wouldn't satisfy him, so why bother?
That bad, huh? Domino could sympathize. Maybe they should get more Pokemon to join their cause to lighten the load? Or perhaps find a steady human companion that could curb her behavior. It looked like Ruby's hands were full just taking care of that wild Mime Jr.
