[The need of a flashlight irks her, as well as the lack of exceptional eyesight of a bird that she possessed. In darkness she would usually just summon a bit of fire for it to illuminate her surroundings, but this object did just the same, as annoying as it was to have to cart the thing in her pack.

While she does not see the man at first, her Murkrow seems to notice something as she fluffed up defensively almost immediately, although Willow paid it no mind due to wanting to seek out answers in this place. After all, a legend that two powerful birds used to roost in this city before this tower was burnt? A fascinating story, although the monks rudely denied her any of their knowledge.

Once she's spoken to, she peers up at him, taking note of his height. By the gods, he's as tall as an elf and some of the dragons when they took a mortal appearance! Perhaps he's one himself.

A short, semi disgusted, snort before she returns an answer:] Of course not! Do I look it? I should hope I do not appear as such, with my ears as they are. [at least this world allowed her ears to remain pointed, she would have been furious otherwise.]
