She listens intently, watching carefully as Sasha demonstrates how the device works. It all looks very complex, and Cassandra thinks it's probably best that she not think too hard about how any of what it does is possible for the moment. "On its own?"

"Okay, so..." She works her bottom lip with her teeth for a moment as she thinks. "This thing is as smart as like. Ten thousand people? But it only works within really specific parameters. Like. I think this one has all the info on these weird little monsters?"

She taps the Pokedex logo, which makes a red light flash on its front. "Huh. Must be camera based. So when you use this app, you'll want to point this-- this eye at a thingy. Like this."

She turns the camera on her shoulder rat, and the device reads out in a smooth, somewhat tinny voice: "Rattata: the Mouse Pokemon. With its incisors, it gnaws through doors and infiltrates people’s homes. Then, with a twitch of its whiskers, it steals whatever food it finds."
