A poor desinger to be sure... And worse, the creator clearly had no oversight! I understand the temptation to keep one's more indulgent creations private, however...
[That this isn't Amaurot is an absolute travesty.]
Is that not what this whole world is about? To find, design, or invent aught that does not exist yet? Perhaps the people here would be calmer and more agreeable if they entered the state of free thought!
[He pulls an apple out of his bag, and takes a bite. He talks while chewing.]
And ordinarily I would not so greedily seek profit either, but I have no intention of starving or sucumbing to the elements! Besiiides, perhaps I can discover a few medicines in the process.

It isn't that he even disagrees with his friend outright, but they are powerless to change this world as they are at the moment. Their conquest will be a slow burn, and even still Hythlodaeus was never the sort for such matters. Once upon a time, neither was he.]
I think you will find these mortals are more free of thought, than aught else. However, man ever desires his pleasures, and you may find yourself quite the market. Mayhap even those willing to bargain with your requests, but I advise you do not hold your breath.
[He takes a bite out of one of his rolls, shrugging his shoulders as he chews. If Hythlodaeus discovers a few medicines, that could also be rather profitable, though he's not sure if these mortals deserve such kindness. A thought he won't air in the presence of his friend.
He wouldn't understand.]

[He shrugs. He’s set his sights on his goals and won’t be easily deterred. ]
People adapt slowly to change, but I’ve never wanted for patience. It will all turn out well enough!
[He leans over, stands of his hair falling loose and brushing the table ] What are you eating?
no subject
[He says, only cementing Hythlodaeus' point about being curmudgeonly. As Hythlodaeus leans over to ask about his food, he's about to take a bite. Pausing, he looks between his nosy friend and his food, before closing his mouth with a frown.]
'Tis a sandwich roll, filled with ingredients relatively similar to aught we've enjoyed in Amaurot--I would offer you one, but you do not partake of meat.

Is it Pokémon meat?

Looks at the sandwich roll in his hand.
Looks at Hythlodaeus.]
I do not know, nor do I care.
[He promptly takes a bite.]

You aren’t even the littlest bit curious about that which you would put inside your... [ He frowns. He was about to say body, but there’s at least three reasons that’s untrue.] Physical ... form.
It is unlike you to not care!

[He says as much plainly, somewhat distantly.]
It is not likely they will admit exactly what they've used. Perhaps to keep the consumers free of guilt, ridiculous though that is.
no subject
But it is somewhat ethically worrying to Create such highly emotionally entelligent animals for slaughter. Hm, I must apologize. You've caught me worrying about our captors.
[He shakes his head, refocusing.] But of course, that body merely houses your soul. Though... It can be damaging to the soul if you insist on injuring and improperly nourishing the body.

[He basically spits out with annoyance, before moving on to something far more interesting than Hythlodaeus' worrying about him.]
From what I have gathered, there's the equivalent of a primal at the helm of all of this. 'Tis he who has created such creatures, he who has brought us here. Or so that is what I have been lead to believe. Whether or not he is truly a primal by nature, I know not, but I find myself hard-pressed to believe such a creature is of a natural sort.
[He explains with a wave of his hand.]
More likely than not he was created by the people here through their belief of him as some sort of god. Not unlike the various other beasts that are "legendary" in their distinction.

[He picks out another piece of fruit from his bag. It is a cantaloupe. He stands to go find a knife in Hades' kitchen.]
no subject
[He says rather deadpan, but then huffs in amusement before shaking his head.]
I do not know much else, most of our fellow imports seem to refer to him as such, mayhap due to his ridiculous appearance. I have not seen him myself, I am not sure who has, or who may yet have more information.
Perhaps I will eventually seek him out, should my own work's progress stall eventually.
no subject
There must be some manner of gaining audience with it.
[And hopefully this will fail.]
