Am I to believe you hold no favor in running about, fetching items while engaging in myriad, pointless chores you and yours get up to in the pursuit of all things good? My, perhaps I pegged you wrong.
[The sarcasm and condescension in his tone is thick as ever.]
Nevertheless, seeing as you are at the Ruins of Alph, there are a fair number of ghosts there, some I may yet find useful. Should you capture me a fair assortment of them, you will find yourself fairly rewarded.
Fairer yet if you happen across one called Honedge—I've yet to acquire one. 'Tis the soul of a departed soldier, bound to the blade that took its life. Needless to say, if you see a queer sword of sorts, you might do well in not grabbing its handle. Or, if you are feeling an inclination towards recklessness, do so.
I shall enjoy hearing about the results, hero.

Besides, she does enjoy HELPING people, just. Chores. Always chores. By now she's become a Jack-of-Plenty-of-Trades and yet only a Master-of-Some. And so she simply fixes him with a flat look for his tone.
She listens as he goes on, and if she still had her miqo'te ears they would've perked and gone stiff at the mention of the word ghosts. As is, her expression goes almost painfully, carefully blank. The more that Emet-Selch explains the more uneasy she feels, one finger giving a jumpy twitch from around her hold on the pokegear.
She's quiet for what may seem a long time, considering the simple nature of the request (go catch some pokemon
please and thank you.Then, carefully:]
... I'll think about it.

However, that certainly was a long wait for a maybe, which in itself tells him something. Her overall reaction does not escape his notice, because while he might chatter on like he's the only thing in all of existence worth paying any mind to, he is ever perceptive of others. Ever watching. Observing.]
Is aught amiss? Surely you are not so bothered by such a task—or do you share the ill-favor our mutual dragoon acquaintance holds towards such creatures?

I've heard the rumors and I can't say I'm keen on the notion of serving as an involuntary meat suit for some wayward soul.
[Pointedly raising an eyebrow.]
Let's just say some mutual "acquaintances" have made the idea leave an even sourer taste...

[He asks in a tone that's dripping with smugness and mockery.]
Nevertheless, you have faced far greater foes than these laughable creatures. Perhaps I flatter you in believing 'twas not merely your gift that made you the hero that you are—or, rather, were as the case seems to be.

[She frowns, makes a thoughtful, almost irritated sort of sound, and leaves that hanging there rather than finishing the thought.]
Never mind, and don't worry that pretty little skunk striped head about it. I've willpower for days. That being said, I'm not sure it's wise providing you with the means to run around possessing people.
[She'll just have to be sure to stock up on some Pokemon that can offer some resistance and protection.]
But I'll do it, if you'll do something particular for me in return. I doubt it'll be difficult for a man with your... charming persuasion skills. I'm looking for an unown.

So quick to distrust my intentions. I've ample means to possess hapless fools already, if that were my aim, I could do so.
[His eyebrows raise with curiosity at her as he continues.]
You need not flatter me to agree to a trade, you know. What manner of unown are you after—for you are at the source for such creatures, and fair more likely to come across it than I.
