My friend... Solus' attentions are a torment to him. He reminds my friend of a person who spent a long time hurting him. And when I tried to get past Solus on the stairs and he blocked my way--and when I asked for him to move and he refused--he said that I shouldn't flee what I feared, that some stayed and faced those fears much to their benefit, like my friend--
[He sighs.]
It felt like a threat against him. It really did. And he-- he didn't benefit from Solus paying attention to him. Not at all. Just being in his presence messed him up, badly.

[Honestly, except for the grief counseling his parents took him to when Tio Carlos died, Steven's mostly stayed away from psychologists. He doesn't want them to realize anything's wrong with him.]
