B.
Luckily he's good at projecting his voice, so he doesn't need to get too close, lest the wind from his mount's wings buffet the kid right off the rock face.]
Ho, there!

Fortunately, a savior arrives. At least, Kirishima hopes that's the case and this pale-haired guy isn't just going to laugh at them. Actually, he could take the laughter as long as help came with it.
For a second, the redhead gawks a bit at the Flygon in what Estinien might identify as the sort of wonder that comes with seeing something awesome for the first time. Despite being in a pretty sticky predicament, Kirishima can't help but be amazed by an actual dragon how cool is that??? ]
Y-Yo! Any chance you could help us out?
[ He smiles out at the man and uses the one arm he has free to sheepishly rub the back of his neck. This is... embarrassing, quite frankly, especially since the more he stares at the stranger astride his Pokemon the cooler he looks. But not as embarrassing as a broken leg or who knows what, he reasons. ]

(He doesn't laugh, that would involve Estinien being a far more mirthful person than he actually is. He's just quietly judging a little. Not too much.)]
Hold on.
[Which is, perhaps, a redundant command. But Ratatoskr isn't exactly built to carry someone in her arms, small as they are, and Estinien still has to pluck the Machop off the cliff face too before they can make their way down.]
no subject
Machop makes a growling, protesting sound as the Flygon comes closer and the wind currents begin to batter them. ]
Easy.
[ Kirishima reassures him, pressing tight to the stone until Ratatoskr seems to have hit a spot where she's hovering steadily. Now she's close, he can see there's a little bit of a flaw in the length of her arms, reminding him briefly of a T-Rex. Just like T-Rex, though, she's still fucking awesome to look at.
The redhead stretches out his arm and grabs Ratatoskr's forearm in a firm grip, though he has to push off the wall with his legs to achieve it. He's now dangling like the center length of a chain between the two Pokemon. ]
Okay, Machop, let go!
[ He calls back to his partner. What he means is that Machop needs to let go of his arm so he can use both to hold onto the Flygon. What happens is Machop lets go of the wall. ]
Oh crap!
[ Kirishima is now clinging on for dear life to these Pokemon, eyes wide with some fear and a whole lot of apology as both his weight and Machop's are dragging at the dragon's forelimb. ]

Ratatoskr backwings a little, moving away from the wall so Temple can get under both Kirishima and his Machop. Once the giant metal bird is in place under Kirishima's dangling feet, Estinien lets go of his wrist.]
Let go. Temple will catch you.
no subject
He doesn't hesitate to obey, dropping as soon as he can pry his fingers out of their death-grip. Onto the back of a metal bird. ]
Woah!
[ He was expecting feathers, not armor, but he's not about to complain. His now-free arm moves to try and find purchase on the steely feathers while the other one immediately wraps around his Machop and drags him into his lap like a big brother about to let his kid sibling take the steering wheel of the car while he pushes the pedals. Only his legs are gripping the Corviknight's neck as best he can. ]
Thanks, Temple!
[ Adrenaline is pounding through him right now. Holy crap, they're really flying! ]
no subject
He gives a hand signal and Temple starts an easy descent to the ground, which Ratatoskr follows. Once they land, he unfastens the straps holding him down and slides off her back, looking down at the boy.]
Are you unharmed?
no subject
Once they're on the ground, Kirishima leans back and allows his Machop to hop off the armored avian before carefully climbing down himself. Considering he's never ridden anything before, the dismount is a little awkward, and though he'd have landed on his feet, he finds himself caught bridal-style in the arms of his Machop. It looks absolutely ridiculous - his torso is half-dangling out of the hold thanks to how broad he is, for one. ]
Hey!
[ He yelps in surprise, gawping at his Pokemon, who meets him back with the most smug smirk. Oh. This is payback for manhandling him earlier. Not for the first time, Kirishima is startled by the intelligence of a creature who isn't quite human. ]
Okay. That's fair.
[ Kirishima gives a reluctant little smirk, though he still sets his hand atop the Pokemon's ridged head for leverage to stand up.
Once he's on his feet, he turns to address Estinien, his smile becoming more wry. ]
Yeah. I mean my pride as a man has taken a blow, but we're okay. Right, Machop?
[ Maaachop. The Pokemon sets his hands on his hips and flexes. It's not very impressive, but it does convey a certain sense of reassurance. Kirishima grins. ]
Thanks for the save, guys. I don't think that could've been any more awesome! I didn't know Pokemon could get more amazing!
[ He beams at the trio, eyes bright and excited as he finally gets to give them a proper look-over. To Estinien: ]
You must be a really strong trainer.
no subject
He glances over both Kirishima and the Machop as if to double-check, before shrugging. If the kid says he’s fine, Estinien’s going to take him at his word.]
You do know tis a path through the mountain, rather than trying to scale it?
[He doesn’t sound too critical at least, though he is a bit sarcastic. What can you do. Temple ruffles his wings slightly and settles on the ground like a giant nesting crow. Made of metal.]
Tis naught that would not come to you with time and practice.
no subject
[ Back to being sheepish again, Kirishima rubs the back of his head and gives a mild gesture with the rest of his hand.
Man, now that they're close, he's really noticing the height difference between the two of them. Kirishima is from a world of superheroes that include a whole lot of different body types and sizes, so he's not about to gawk or comment on it, but it is notable, as are the pointed ears. For his own part, nothing separates Kirishima from any other average (5'7) teenaged, human boy with an eccentric hairstyle aside from a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. ]
I wasn't thinking far ahead. Next time we'll bring some actual equipment.
[ Because Kirishima is still of the opinion that it's a great workout and bonding exercise. ]
And yes sir, I hope that's the case! [ Both the fact this guy rescued him and the archaic way of speaking is bringing Kirishima's more formal manners out. ] How long have you yourself been a trainer?
