[Grant has a lot of questions (not that that's anything new in this conversation), but it looks like they'll have to wait. His attention switches right over to Chip, and he smiles as they approach.] Oh, thanks.

Uh... you've met already? [From Chip's tone, it doesn't sound like Dimitri said anything particularly troubling. That's a relief.]

Yeah! They were stuck in the rain so I showed him where a store was to get a jacket and stuff!

[Chip laughs a little shyly and grins happily when Dimitri informs them of Raincoat Success, then remembers they have a delivery to make.]

[It suddenly feels as though he really does not belong here, in this situation. He... had not liked the idea that a child would be in this land, and it makes him feel even worse that it's a parent and child together. Maybe it would be for the best if he just...]

[But then Dean is wiggling a little bit in curiosity at that box, and he snaps out of his own head.]

Ah, good job. [He may worry sometimes about how much Chip seems to expect of themself, but helping someone find a store seems pretty reasonable. So, in this instance, he can just be proud of them for helping out.

Ah, speaking of helping - a smushed box is no problem. He takes it with a nod, and the Phantump peers out from the shrubbery again. Someone's spotted More Treats.] Hoping I can win this guy over. It sure seems to respond to food so far.

[Also, though: He looks up at the Tepig wriggling, and his own Swinub already sniffing toward the snacks. Well, obviously he knows what he's got to do here. He passes a couple poffins to Chip.] Chip, could you give those to Lazzo and Truffle? And... [He looks up at Dimitri again, lifting another poffin from the box.] Would it be alright for yours to have one, too?

[Doesn't seem fair for the other Pokemon to have to watch while the Phantump gets all the treats, right?]

Yeah! If you feed them lots of treats they always love you!

[GAME MECHANICS--oh wait they're being given snax]

Oh! Yeah, I can--hey!

[Perhaps predictably, Lazzo zips off Chips head and down their arm in a flash when they take the poffins. Chip flails a bit, trying futilely to keep that poffin away from their Pokemon while he starts chowing down.]

Lazzo, that one's for Truffle, come on!!
