Oh. [ says Orpheus, sounding - not put off, exactly, but vaguely surprised and a little caught off-guard by the comparison. He does give it due consideration, though. ]

Yes, I suppose I can see in it the time-bleached bones of some primeval colossus, towering over the countryside as the scavengers come across centuries to carve it into some strange new form that it will never know or see. [ It's actually sort of a moving notion, if not exactly the direction this woman probably intended him to take it. ] I think, most likely, it is just stone, though, and something else that shines very brightly in the sunlight. Perhaps metal?

[ He squints harder at the buildings, trying to see through the glare. ]

[Many would find his verboseness off-putting, but for Hornet, it's not that far off from how a lot of the bugs of Hallownest talked. So she just nods- it is rather poetic, isn't it?]

Metal and glass, yes. Take care, or you may burn out your eyes.

Glass? Oh, yes, I had noticed that many of the smaller buildings used glass to provide a view of the outside, while also providing shelter from the elements. But to think it could be used at such a scale, and be so clear and shining! How wondrous.

[ Architecture isn't really one of Orpheus's passions, but it's hard not to be at least a little excited about the artistry of it. He looks over at his companion, cocking his head to the side. ]

You have been there, then, or seen some such similar sight before?
