Oh yeah! I can't wait to see who made the buildings. [The monastery had such an original design much like the castle and church in Faerghus. Yet these buildings didn't have the same religious imagery like the monastery and they all held different designs. It made him want to explore these buildings even more.]

I want to go into one of these buildings to see how they're like on the inside, but I haven't figured out which one I want to go to first. The pokemon are amazing creatures. I've never seen them before and they do really great things. [Ashe smiled down at the Eevee by his feet.]

What pokemon did you get?

Of course, it occurs to me that some of these structures may have been standing long enough that their original builders are long since departed. But I'm sure we can learn about them all the same! And as for which of these fantastical beings has been accompanying me -

[ He looks down, and notices that his Oricorio seems to have wandered off. Frowning, he glances around before calling out; ] Aulos?

[ His voice isn't that much louder than his default of 'pretty quiet,' but she seems to hear him regardless, hopping out of the bushes and cooing at him before giving Ashe and his Eevee a skeptical look. ]

There you are, my friend. This is - oh, my. I seem to have forgotten to ask your names, or offer mine. My sincerest apologies - I am Orpheus, and this is Aulos.

Yes! I'm sure we'll learn alot about the creations they left behind. I'm looking forward to it.

[Ashe looked over at the Oricorio that walked over from the bushes. He gave a reassuring smile as Eevee chirped happily by his feet.] Hi Aulos, nice to meet you. Oh, it's alright! My name is Ashe and this is my friend Ky. It's nice to meet you, Orpheus!

[The Eevee chirped happily at his feet again.] We were going to walk around the city a bit, until we found the pokemon center. You're welcome to join us if you and Aulos are free.

It is a pleasure to meet the both of you. I would be delighted to accompany you into the city - it has been some time since we stopped at a Pokemon center, after all, hasn't it?

[ He looks down at Aulos, who huffs and half-collapses dramatically, like she's been walking for days without end and is exhausted. In reality they've only been out and about for a few hours, but Orpheus indulges her by scooping her up in his arms nonetheless. ]

[Ashe chuckled at Aulos' dramatics and smiled over at her.]

Well, we should hurry to the Pokemon Center. [Eevee chirped happily and walked in front of them.] When did you arrive here? I came a few days ago, the mom was very nice though. She gave me this bag and the guide for the town. Did you end up in the same place?

I found myself in this place just a few days ago myself, and also in the home of a woman claiming to be my mother. It was very strange! I am still not certain what to make of it. [ His brow furrows, and he hefts Aulos so she's sitting more comfortably in his arms as he follows after Ashe and Ky. ]

It was very nice of her to give us these supplies, though, and send us on our way. Most people in this place seem very hospitable, and kind. It has made for a very easy journey, so far.

Yeah I didn't expect to meet someone like her when I got here, though she was very nice. She even let me borrow the kitchen to make food for the journey. Still, I hope she's not too lonely. [Ashe would send something back home when he got the chance.]

It was nice of her to give us these supplies and guidebook too. I have met a lot of friendly people too. They helped me on my way to this city too. I was surprised at first, but I'm glad there's so many nice people here. Oh, you know I found this in my bag. [Ashe took his bag off and rummaged inside, until he pulled out a red ball.]

I found this. I wonder what we're supposed to do with this. Did you get one too?

[ It hadn't occurred to Orpheus that the strange woman might be lonely, but come to think of it having so many strangers passing through one's home sounds very stressful, at minimum. She seemed to take it in stride, but Orpheus makes a mental note to see about sending her some form of gift as an apology for all the trouble.

He nods along as Ashe talks, glad to hear that he's had a similarly easy time finding friendly faces in this place, and takes a look at the ball he pulls out of his bag. ]

Oh! Yes, I believe I have something similar in here somewhere. [ He shrugs the backpack the woman claiming to be his mother gave him off his shoulder and fumbles with the zippers for a moment, still confused by how they work and having some trouble with his long nails. He gets it eventually, though, and pulls out an identical ball. ] I believe, if I remember correctly, that is, that these are for capturing and taming the beings we encounter out in the wild here, though how exactly that would work I am unsure. Aulos, do you have any idea?

[ He holds the ball out to her, and she hops over to him. With as much exasperation as a bird can muster, she taps on the small silver button on the front with her beak, setting off a sudden flash of red light, which envelops her before she disappears, seemingly sucked into the ball. ]

Oh, gods! Where did she go - did you see? [ Orpheus seems rather distressed by this. ]
