Lysithea von Ordelia | Fire Emblem: Three Houses
[ By all accounts, it doesn't make sense. Just that night, the Golden Deer had reunited at Garreg Moch after five years, and now she's... here. In a tiny little hamlet with a woman who claimed to be her mother and then shoved her out into the snow and what looks to be a splash of cream come to life cooing in her arms. At least it didn't seem to require her carrying it constantly, though how it floated was... confusing. Everything about this was confusing, actually. With a harsh sigh, Lysithea glanced down at her new companion. ]
Now what do we do...?
[ B: Network - Videp ]
[ The video clicks to life, and the viewer is greeted by a Milcery who's staring with awe and a desire to learn while it paps around on the Gear. Eventually it coos with delight, spinning around where it floats, and settles onto the table. It's happy to chirp some story- a retelling of how it's trainer and it met!- until Lysithea finally notices the pokemon doing... something, and approaches, scooping it up and picking the gear up. The sudden movement might be uncomfortable for the viewer, but you can now see the trainer clearly. ]
And just what are you up to? And what's this...?
[ C: CHOOSE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE ]
If you have an idea, shoot your shot ! PM me if you want to plot something out. I'm good either way!
B, HELLO SMALL CHILD
But then this particular owner's face appears, and Claude nearly drops his own Gear. It's been awhile since he's seen any of his former classmates who were in his house, and he's instantly delighted. He promptly flips on his camera.]
Lysithea! Fancy meeting you here! Did you just arrive? I bet you're full of questions.
FIGHT ME VON RIEGAN
[ Admittedly, she does drop her Gear, with a loud clatter against the table- but she's quick to pick it back up again, and sorry for the motion blur Claude.
Milcery gives a little wave in her other arm before floating up to Lysithea's shoulder when the Gear is settled again, but Lysithea is focused entirely on the screen. ]
When did this happen? I- yes, I did just get here... And I suppose you're the one to answer them?
That would be child abuse
The question of 'when' is a little tricky. This place does weird things in terms of time. It pulls people from their own worlds - with no regard for when, by the way, so I might have not experienced things yet that are in the past for you, or maybe I've experienced things that are still in your future - and then dumps them here. And while we're here, apparently no time actually passes back home. So whenever this place decides to send us back, it'll be like we never left. So I've been here going on two months now, but as far as I know, nobody back in Fodlan is missing me.
Don't ask me how any of this works, by the way. I've got no idea. Nobody seems to know. They know what happens, but not how or why...
its gonna be ON. SIGHT.
[ Still, despite the skepticism and concern, Lysithea smiles warmly. ]
It looks like you're safe and sound, though- I'm happy to see you like this. Tell me, is it only us?
Oh man Lysithea is VW and Claude is BL, this is gonna be GREAT
OHOHOHO SHIT

[He's frowning, feeling oddly guilty despite this promise not being something he remembers. Something that big couldn't have slipped his mind.]
That said, once Teach came back and the Knights of Seiros settled back into the monastery, along with the Kingdom's army...I don't think waltzing into Garreg Mach for anything would've been easy. The Kingdom and Alliance might not be enemies, but I don't think they'd let us just saunter into their base for fond reminiscing.

Claude... what are you talking about? We reclaimed the monastery as our base of operations with the professor's return.

Did things happen completely differently for us? I mean, that's what it sounds like, but...I didn't even know that was a thing that was possible. For two people from the same world to come here, but they've lived different versions of events from each other...
Although it's not the weirdest thing about being here, I guess, so I can't exactly rule it out. It's just...wild.

[ They can figure out Byleth's protagonist-centered ability to change fate later.
Still, there is a rather cruel part of her in the back of her mind, whispering such things as 'is he even yours, then? are you his? would he want such an aberration at his side?' And while Lysithea is used to shouting down her insecurities, working despite them, this. This is something she wasn't prepared for. She knows, logically, that Claude would be disgusted at such a notion, and yet. ... She does not voice it. ]
This is all too much. I'm going to be getting a migraine at this rate- but. Have you seen anyone else...?

B! (hello!)
Lysithea?? This is becoming absurd. Your Pokemon is absurd, too.
[A pause, and then Felix clears his throat.]
I mean. Hi. Did you just get here?
hello!!! someday i'll get an excuse to throw my other bratty magic girl at u too
Felix? I haven't seen you in years--
[ She kind of wants to be offended, but she can't help but sigh in agreement. Milcery coos in greeting, unaware that it has been insulted. ]
Pokémon is what these creatures are called, yes? This one was with me upon arrival. ... You're not wrong, but I am admittedly fond of it. But yes, I did just get here this evening. I take it you've seen some of the others?
o_o ooh which bratty magic girl?
[Behind him, what looks like a purple leopard approaches to sit and peer over his shoulder into the screen.]
--yes, I'm talking about you, you vain beast. This is Varley. She was a much smaller cat originally.
[Then he lifts an eyebrow.] Of course you're fond of it. It's practically a dessert already. And I have. Dimitri, Sylvain, and Claude are all here as well.
jinx is my first accepted character here!!
Well, she's lovely- if not a bit unusual... for us, at least.
[ Hey. HEY. Just because it's true, Felix, doesn't mean you should say it. She's going to ignore that, thank you... because the list of other arrivals from their land is a bit alarming and demands more attention. ]
That's so much more than I expected! I didn't even know Dimitri was alive- is he alright? [ Everyone who saw him the day of the assault remembers, after all- the rage and madness that had taken him, and his declared execution alike. Both sounded traumatizing. Still, she tries not to badger him with too many questions. ] And what of Claude and Sylvain? Are you all together?
[ Tries being the keyword. ]
aha, yes!
Hmph. She certainly doesn't need the ego boost. She's ordinary compared to other creatures I've seen here. One of mine is a sword. Possessed by a-- [Oh, whoops. Lysithea hates ghosts, doesn't she? Hm.] Never mind. The point is, it's a sword creature.
[Under other circumstances, Felix might have complained about the barrage. As it is, it's only been a few weeks since he had no idea what was going on, and he's always liked Lysithea besides. He frowns, though, when she asks about Dimitri.]
We are. What's the last thing you remember? We all remember things from different points in time. If you didn't know Dimitri was alive, you're probably coming from earlier in the war than I did.
['Dimitri,' apparently, not 'the boar.' Something must have changed.]
lysithea is on a different route than everyone else it seems and i'm cackling
[ She caught that 'possessed' Felix, and she does not want to meet it. Still, there's a more distracting question to answer. ]
My class had reunited at Garreg Mach, and fended off bandits raiding the ruins. After that, we had tried to get some sleep- at which point I woke up here.
[ The milcery chirps. ]
With a living splash of cream.
YEAH we're all AM this is going to be hilarious lmao
[But then his frown returns, with an extra helping of confusion this time.]
Your class? The Golden Deer? That makes no sense. None of you were there when we met up at Garreg Mach. Sylvain came from about the same time, but he was the one about to reunite with the Lions there.
i'm not changing this because this is too good.
[ Wait. What? ]
I should say the same thing to you- I saw none of the Blue Lions at all! Bandits, yes, and the professor, miraculously, but none of you.
yesssss
[He rubs his temples.] Claude will know better than I do what this means. But it sounds like we remember completely different things.
To answer your question, Dimitri escaped execution. He wasn't alright for a long time. He's...better now. Claude and Sylvain are fine.
me, already peppering in some Angst about that in claude's tags: :3c
[ Still, she listens earnestly- it's a relief to hear that everyone is alright, and that Dimitri was healing at that. Frankly she hadn't expected to see it, ever. ]
That's good to hear. I'm glad that you're all safe and sound... aside from being wherever this place is. It seems so idyllic, it's jarring, to be honest.
I love it >:D

Well, you're certainly open about your intentions. But I suppose if someone's going to underestimate anything because of how small or delicate it looks, they probably have it coming.
