Interesting.

Still, I suppose it has its upsides as well. Getting to taste food, for one, that's something that a lot of organic life forms seem to quite enjoy.

If you (that is to say, the hypothetical person) haven't had food yet, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I think Fake Mom usually puts trail mix in the bag before she shoves people out the door—maybe you can try that?

It's the most common name I've seen for her, yes.

Well, she certainly does that.

Are we certain that she isn't under some kind of enchantment, though? Something with the power to create human bodies for those without could easily do such a thing.

We aren't. I suppose the most common theory is that she's a bit mad? Or perhaps the space llama god that supposedly brings us here created her to be his greeter. But I don't suppose there's any reason *why* she couldn't just be under an enchantment. It's probably easier for said god to enchant an already there person than to create a new one.

I can't say I've heard of a space llama god before, and yet somehow I'm unsurprised, given what I've observed so far.

If I had my powers, I could try and check.

[He didn't like not knowing. What if she was suffering? And everyone else who seemed to just be playing a role? The scripted dialogue was a little too much like Westview, in a way that set his teeth on edge.]

We do get our powers and true forms back for a couple days about twice a year. People call them 'weird weekends.' We should be due for another in three or four months—I'd say wait until then and check.
