[Hermione blinked at his introduction. She wondered if he might actually be a wizard with a name like that. Then again when it came to unusual names, Hermione was right up there on the list so it's not like she could talk. She followed him and his Indeedee up to the counter, subtley studying the older man for any clue he might actually be from her own world.]

I'll have a green tea please.

[She knelt down so she was level with the Indeedee and smiled. She hadn't actually seen one before, even though she'd had most pokemon names and species memorised. Male, if she wasn't mistaken, going by the shape of its horns. She offered a hand tentatively.]

Hello there. And who might you be?

[...Oh yeah, paying for things was awkward here. Aziraphale snagged a bottled water from the chilled fridge, then fussed with his Pokégear to try and get to the payment app. Eventually the clerk had to help.

Indeedee, meanwhile, patted Hermione's palm with one paw and ducked the under down under his chest to give a slight bow. He gave her a good-natured chirrup, too, which was about as close as he could get to legitimately introducing himself.]

Loving your Aziraphale btw! I'm currently rewatching Good Omens :)

[Hermione hid a grin. It seemed Indeedee took after Aziraphale in its mannerisms too. At least Aziraphale didn't seem to be pompous or stuck up like some purebloods she knew.

[Order taken and paid for, Hermione led the trio back to the table, gesturing for both to take a seat and smiling at Aziraphale. It was nice to make a new friend, especially not knowing...

[She gave a slight shake of her head, pushing all thoughts of that to the far corners of her mind where she could analyse it later. Now was not the time.]

My treat next time.

I take it you haven't been here - this world I mean - for too long either? I only arrived about a week ago but I've been here before. I'm sure I could help if there's anything you'd like to know?

[The water turned out to be for the Indeedee; once they were settled Aziraphale cracked the seal and set it in front of the Pokèmon. He tutted at the annoyed chirp he got in response.]

You've had plenty of soda today, Maxwell, have some proper hydration before the next one.

[It earned him a humph, but no further protestations. Aziraphale chuckled and shook his head.]

I thought you couldn't come and go? I've been here for... two months, perhaps.

[Hermione grinned. It seemed like Maxwell had Aziraphale wrapped around his his paw. Their interaction was cute to watch.

Unfortunately as far as I'm aware, you can't optionally come and go. However apparently you can be sent back to your world seemingly at random, and then be brought back here again with no notice. It's frustrating that no-one seems to know why or how.

It's been about 2 years in my world since I was here last. I'm still trying to catch up with everything that's happened here since I left.

The good news or bad I guess, depending on the situation, is that you return to your world at the point you were originally taken. Or at least that was my experience.

[And what a shock to the system that had been.]

That's a relief, at least. I have... well, I have somebody back home I would very much like to return to.

[Aziraphale couldn't help but smile a little bit, turning the little paper cup in his hands. Finally, they were free, and he had just been separated again? But it helped to know that at least Crowley wouldn't miss him.]

There's no way to influence that randomness, I suppose. A pity.
