Well, it's either this place or the alternative back home. And the alternative sucks, so. [A shrug. She's just domestically inclined, what are ya gonna do.] There are big things that happen every so often that are exciting, though. Sometimes the holidays are weird, sometimes there's a swarm of particular creatures. Sometimes things are very dire or dangerous. It happens.

I was rather thrilled about 'the alternative', personally. Being trapped in some bright and cheerful unknown lands sounds like my idea of constant and unending torment no matter how lively.
