Huh. I never really thought about it that way.

I don't think you're weird, either. I'm kind of happy that you know about Princess's story. I think only really the elders remember much about the surface stories anymore. People used to recognize our names a lot easier when we were younger.

That's good! I wouldn't mind hearing some. I tried reading the book Gretel found but it felt sort of weird reading about our friends like that.

once upon a time there was a witch named beatrice. my grandfather made a contract with her to get a lot of gold! but in return she could take it back once he was dead! and anything else that belonged to our family! including the people!

'The Great Hero' Hameln. Hammy for short. A little younger than me and a bit of a pain but she's a great help, especially with her familiars.
