She's confused, too, but she always had been somewhat a stickler for minor things like that. Was it rude? She didn't know. She felt that she had been rude and that was enough.

"...Maybe not."

She agreed. She rubbed the back of her head. "I felt bad, though. I guess I'm just more talkative."

Oh. Well that kind of explained it, a little. She wanted someone to talk to, right? But Shrike is... not good at that. Nor does he feel especially motivated to try.

"Sorry."

Now it's his turn to rise to go.

"You can find someone else to talk to."

Sometimes it's better to admit that she has no idea how to go forward. So she rubs the back of her neck again as her Pokemon eventually waddles over to her.

"...I'll see you around, then."

Princess would have done much better.

She tries to give her most princely nod. Both at Shrike and the Togepi.

It's not her, it's him, really. Shrike's just terrible at interacting with people, one way or another. He quickly moves to pick up the Togepi, his motions as he scoops the little one up having the look of being very careful and controlled, then, well. He doesn't run away, per se, but he's certainly making haste.

But who knows, perhaps their paths will cross again sometime and they can get off on a better foot then!
