There's no rhyme or reason to it so don't go looking for any logic!

[ He had almost driven himself nuts trying to find some sort of connection, some correlation, as to the whys and hows people are chosen. So far, Bakugou hasn't managed to come up with anything. It's frustrating not to have any real information! ]

You were doing that and I was on a mission with all of you shitheads while Deku was even further along in time than me. None of it makes sense and you'll just drive yourself nuts trying to piece it together!

[ And you see, he is about to answer the other part. Going to talk about how fucking nuts this place is... When Ribbons decides to finally jump off of Corviknights back. Just one cute little Eevee, running towards this new friend with her jingly bell ribbons making all sorts of noise. ]

[Ochako frowns a little, looking irritated and a little frustrated. Okay, but how can she not try to look for logic right now?! This poor girl's still extremely confused as to what is even happening, if it's even real, and what she's supposed to do - if anything - to get herself, and now Bakugou and the others, back home again. None of this makes any sort of sense, and it's really difficult to not try and piece things together to stop her head from spinning. Ochako isn't exactly the type to settle with 'it is how it is', after all. She's much too rational, too scientific.]

Wait...what? What do you mean Deku is further in time?

[Okay now that? That right there?? Ochako wants to know what the absolute fuck that is all about. Does this shit mess with time as well?! Is Deku...is he older than everyone?! By how much?! Ochako's starting to get a headache all over again, and she half believes what the blond says about going nuts for a second when something comes at her from atop that big ol'...what was it called again? Corviknight? Eh, probably something else that belongs to Bakugou.

Oh. B-But...it's...it's--]

A BABY!!!

[ALSO FUCKING ADORABLE WHAT THE SHIT, LOOK AT IT IT'S SO FLUFFY. Ochako drops into a crouch as that cottonball of a creature jingles its way on over to her, all woes and worries forgotten for the moment. Once it's close, she lavishes upon that little Eevee an abundance of pets, rubs, and scritches, cooing and giggling as a huge, stupid grin appears on her face.]

Uwaah!! You're so soft and sweet, like a pancake! Oooh, what a pretty girl you are, with your little bows and bells!! ♥ [Ochako blows kisses to the Eevee, and Cleffa meeps at Ribbons curiously, waddling over to introduce itself to the other cute Pokemon while Ochako looks back up at Bakugou again, stars in her eyes.] Bakugou-kun, is this one yours, too?! It's so cuuute~! What's this one called?!

[AND WHERE CAN SHE GET ONE, SHE WANTS ON--NO, SHE WANTS TWENTY. BURY HER ALIVE IN A BAJILLION OF THESE CUTE, FLUFFY BABIES.]

[ You know... Katsuki could answer that. He could address the time bullshit going on and you know. Deal with Uraraka's likely mental breakdown that would go with it. But the thing is... he doesn't know how it works. Doesn't know why it is what it is. So honestly it's better to just leave it as is. She can figure all that stuff out on her own.

Besides... Ribbons is apparently making her squeal. Bakugou has to cover his ears. he's about to say something but the Eevee does not know a stranger. She's bouncing right up to Ochako and dancing around for some of that attention. So upon receiving it, those tiny little paws will try to push at Ochako's round cheeks or whatever Ribbons can reach. ]

That's Ribbons. A pain in the ass Eevee that's spoiled rotten by everyone.

[ And only moderately by him okay? ]

[In all honesty, she'll get to that point eventually, and indeed have her own little mental breakdown over the how and why's, but for now? For now she can choose to ignore the calamity in her mind over trying to make sense of all this bullshit and instead just...play with some fucking cute animals. These things do wonders for calming her down, that's for sure.

Ochako is giggling and picks Ribbons up into her arms for some proper cuddles, tickling a few fingers over her tummy, if allowed, and just having the fucking time of her life right now, holy shit. how in god's name Bakugou ended up with such an adorable little ball of fluff is beyond her, but it's very clearly happy and healthy...and very obviously loved and pampered, so she doesn't tease him about it. Yet.]

Ribbons!! That's such a cute name! Ehehe, does Bakugou-kun take good care of you, Ribbi-chan? Does he play with you, give you kisses, and make gross noises at you like a doting father? I bet he does. [Okay, so that was a fucking lie, she's going to tease him right now. Then turn to the gigantic Corviknight, setting Ribbons down gently.] Does this one have a name, too? Can I pet it? Is it friendly?

[Can she ride on it? +__+]

[ Ribbons enjoys the attention of course. She makes little squealing noises and paws at Round Face in return. Really Ochako can do as she pleases. It's not going to set Ribbons off. The Eevee really does enjoy all of it. Bakugou, just staring at the scene, allows it. If the attention is on the girl, then it isn't on him and begging Bakugou to pick her up and hold her.

Then the baby talk makes his brow twitch. This girl.. Bakugou's going to snatch the Eevee back. None of that! And rather than answer to any of those vicious accusations ~~that are partially true from him and also from Kirishima~~ he's going to glower and growl and - ]

DON'T MAKE SHIT UP IN YOUR HEAD!

[ Okay so he will say something. Then his eyes drift over to his Corviknight. ]

Touch him and see for yourself.

[ Most of his Pokemon actually do like people. ]

[My gosh but Ochako is absolutely in love with this creature already. Cleffa actually huffs a little, starting to get a smidge jealous, and whaps at Ochako's leg with its dumpy little arms, meeping and puffing up until Ochako's picking it up for cuddles and kisses in excess. Yes, all is well now.]

Aah, don't be upset!! You're a cutiepie, too, and all mine. Let's go make more friends, yeah? I bet this big birdie only looks scary... Sort of like his owner.

[Ochako gives Bakugou a sly grin and calmly approaches the big ol' Corviknight, reaching out carefully. She really doesn't know how well these Pokemon all like to be touched and handled, but if Bakugou is raising them, then Ochako knows they're good creatures. Well behaved (for the most part), and sweet despite however they may look. She doesn't touches the big bird just yet, just offers her hand slowly for it to inspect.]

Hello there. You've real big, aren't you, birdie? I bet you take good care of my friend with how strong you look. Thank you very much for looking after him!! He's a handful, but really kind deep down. Ehehe, I'm sure you know that better than I do, though...don't you? Can I pet you?

[ Oh he so totally makes a face as Ochako soothes her little pink ball of something or other. Only looking scary? BAKUGOU IS MOTHER FUCKING TERRIFYING! GET IT RIGHT!

She's not entirely wrong about the bird though. Corviknight has calmed down after evolving. He's no longer this tiny bird pest. He is a proud and intelligent thing. So he won't really have a problem if Ochako touches him or speaks to him. Won't do anything but caw softly as he puts his head in her hand. ]

Oh my fucking god...

[Terrifying...sometimes. Much like his Corviknight, Bakugou too has calmed down a bit over the months. Just goes to show that birds of a feather do indeed flock together, and pets can take on traits of their owners in any world.

Ochako brightens as the massive birdie croons and presses into her palms, and she gives him a few good pets and scratches as well. Aww, what a good boy!! It's to be expected though - Bakugou is a good person deep down, and of course he'd raise these little (or big in the case of Corviknight) guys with love and care! She could be wrong, but he seems the type to prefer the company of an animal over a bunch of people.]

Ehehe, see? I was right...what a good boy you are. So pretty, too. [The feathers are nice and glossy, and he's got a bright look to his eyes. Ochako rubs Corviknight's beak once before turning back to Bakugou at last, looking much happier and calmed down. Amazing what just cuddling a few cute animals can do.]

You're really good at taking care of animals huh? These two really love you a lot, I can tell. [Even her own little Cleffa is wiggling a little in her arms, to greet the blond. Clearly it can see a good person too, especially if the other Pokemon around are so happy and relaxed.] So what are you doing out here anyway, Bakugou-kun?

[ Maybe he should tell her that they aren't... Really pets? Like they have a sentience to them that animals where they come from don't? Then again, Round Face will probably figure that out on her own as he begins to travel around. ]

Wouldn't really call them animals.

[ Katsuki's rough with animals. Or, rather, they're a bit rough with him because of his personality. It's not very soothing. ]

Anyway. He wanted to get out and fly now that he can so I figured why the hell not.

[Someone probably should do that, yes. Ochako has no idea these creatures can, will, and like to fight one another. There's actually quite a bit she doesn't know or understand, since no one's...really told her much, but. Bakugou is right, she'll figure it out eventually, or at least ask the right people the right questions.]

Mmh...it's the only thing that makes sense, and 'creatures' seems so mean. [Ochako frowns a bit. She's just going to have to get used to Pokemon being the blanket term for animals in this world... It's going to take some time, for sure.]

Oh? Could he not before? [It's...a fucking bird. Ochako blinks, tilting her head to one side as she regards Corviknight curiously, rubbing her hand down one of its tucked wings. You are also baby. Beaky baby. ♥] Or do you mean with a passenger?

[ Sometimes people can talk about it and explain it... And it's just better to experience it. All of the pieces don't actually fall into place until then. ]

Sure, he could fly around before. He's a damn bird.

[ Speaking of birds, Corviknight spreads his wings out with a mighty CAW CAW MOTHERFUCKER. ]

But not for vast distances and not with passengers, no.

[And, laughing loudly, Ochako pulls and Eri and spreads her arms up and out wide to mimic the massive corvid with a childish "uwaah!!". Gosh but it's so freaking COOL!! She definitely wants one, someday. Or maybe she can just love on Bakugou's, that seems like a great plan, too.]

Huh...I wonder why not? Did you have to get him specially trained or something? I guess riding one of these things is probably pretty dangerous, so it'd make sense... You could get seriously hurt if you fall. [Ochako huffs, reaching up to dig her fingers into the scruff of feathers in Corviknight's neck, giving him some good, thorough scritches while making kissy faces at him because he's such a GOOD, SWEET BOY. YES, HE IS. ♥♥]

Are there other big ones like this? How many do you have, Bakugou-kun? ...Actually, where do you even get them? I know I got my first one when I arrived, but are there...shelters and stuff that adopt them out or what? I honestly have no idea what I'm even really supposed to be doing here other than just walking around and exploring...

It requires a badge and a technique. Don't ask me why it is. It just is.

[ But for real though. Corviknight is loving this sort of attention. It's a bit harder to get now that he's so massive. When it had been a small thing, he would bother Bakugou all the time in the middle of the night. ]

Anyway. You only get that one. The rest you have to catch in the wild or you just get eggs.

[ Which means he's releasing his other four. Houndoom, Sandslash, Chandelure...

And an Alolan Ninetales. ]

...This place really doesn't make much sense at all.

[Ochako wrinkles her nose. Badge, technique...what? Why can't a bigass bird just be able to fly a person when it wants to? I mean, sure, it probably needs proper safety training and gear to make sure no one gets hurt, but that should be a thing taught by a specialized group in every town and city. You'd think this world would make things a bit more accessible, honestly... Especially when it seems like they all want you to explore or some shit like that.

Ochako shakes her head, starting to feel an irritated headache forming, and instead just keeps on distracting herself with all these cute as hell animals. Man but they sure fucking help keep her worries at bay for a while.]

Catch them? Like in...traps? [That seems kind of cruel, doesn't it? She doesn't want to hunt or hurt these things. Nah, that wouldn't make sense. Ochako rubs at her temples, and instead closes her eyes and thinks more like...like a video game. Because this place is sort of like that, kind of. It only makes sense in a totally weird way.] Wait, wait. Like Monster Rancher? Or those collectible mobile ga--eeehh!! You have so many of them!

Hello there... [She's crouching down a bit now, to introduce herself to the newest ones. One is like a hedgehog? And oooh, that big scary hellhound looking thing. Of course Bakugou has one of those. But the FOX. +___+ Ochako gasps softly, holding out her hand.] Uwaah...you're so pretty... Bakugou-kun, your friends are all so cool and pretty!! I really like them a lot!

[ He's not going to sit here and explain things when the information is already available. Round Face is just going to have to deal with it. It will talk about everything that she's currently asking questions about. So that's how Bakugou will leave it.

Rather he'll focus on his teammates and her reaction to them. ]

[ They're all pretty friendly, save for Houndoom. He'll just sit right close there next to Katsuki. Houndoom likes only person and one person only. ]

[She, uh...she didn't exactly have a chance to get to really sit down and figure all that out before Ochako was shoved out the door and let loose into the wild, as it were. A bit too emotional for her own good, Ochako spent most of her first few hours just sort of wandering around, trying not to panic, and trying to get her questions answered by a lot of unhelpful people. Then she was attacked by those dumb birds before Bakugou sav--oh! That's right.]

Ah...already? [Her head turns to one side. Ochako only has Cleffa, who is happily going to introduce herself to all the other Pokemon, but pauses before getting too close to Houndoom. Hmmm... She'll just. make an arc way around the scary-looking doggo and approach from the other side, closer to Katsuki.] That's amazing...they're all so big, and cool looking.

Oh, and, um...thanks, Bakugou-kun. For saving me. Eheh, I don't think I said it before. And Corviknight, too!!

[ So it's not really "already." Bakugou's been here for a while, Round Face. Just what do you think he's been up to, huh? ]

Anyway. You can only carry six at a time. So I have to rotate the shits out. Your Cleffa there coulda handled things too. They like to battle.

R-Right...right. Can we go somewhere else, Bakugou-kun? I think I just need to walk around and not think about all this for a little while. [It's a bit much to process all at once, my god. Ochako needs a goddamn break.]

[ It is a lot to take in. Bakugou had trouble with not having his Quirk... Took him months to properly process and deal with it. So it's not like he can really boast about - ]

[ But he can complain! Loudly! Anyway, the blonde jerks his thumb towards Corviknight. ]

I can take you to the closest city.

[And the best part is, Ochako still hasn't realized she can't use her quirk yet. She hasn't had a need to use it, so finding that out when she tries is going to be a Fun Time for sure.

Ochako scowls at him for the nasty remark, and kicks a bit of dirt in his general direction as she sticks out her tongue. She's not 'falling apart'!! Not yet at least - that may happen when she's let all of this really sink in - but for now she's doing her best. Heck, others would probably be freaking out by now, but having some emergency training and such definitely helps her keep her head a little bit better. This place is weird, and the way they got here is super not great, but at least the world itself seems...relatively peaceful. That's a small boon.]

Mm? Can your birdy really carry two people at once?

[ Honestly Katsuki figures that she will once everything really sinks it. It had been much the same way for him. The only reason it hadn't immediately had been due to the presence of Kirishima. Then again it had taken him months to fully brood over the loss. ]

Obviously. Look at the size of him. You think he can't?

[It...really is going to be rough. Especially since Ochako is traveling by herself, too, or will be. She doesn't exactly want to get dragged around behind the boys, after all. They have their own shit to do, and she'd like to catch up on her own. But, the longer nights are going to be difficult.]

Bakugou-kun, I don't know, so please stop treating me like I'm dumb. Birds usually aren't able to carry very large animals...let alone two people. [But she is heading over towards Corviknight again with a smile, and then bows to it politely.] Is it alright if I ride on your back, please? I promise not to pull your pretty feathers.

Why would I offer to take if you if he couldn't handle two people?

[ He stands there with his hands on his hips. Katsuki huffs like Corviknight caws. He spreads his wings. Yes! The bird is ready! ]

[Ochako opens her mouth, closes it, then puffs up her cheeks and crosses her arms, knowing she's lost. Goddamnitall.

Ochako: 0]

Fine, fine, let's just go already...

[Giving Corviknight a final pat on the head, Ochako will wait for Bakugou to get on first before climbing up after. He knows how to, uh...'drive' this thing, and where he's going, so it'd make more sense for him to be in the front.]
