[ Just shaking her out of her tears is enough. Kirishima could take that but he certainly doesn't want to... There are lots of good things about this world to tell Ochako about before she gets too into the fact she's nowhere near their world or herself.

Ochako and Mina are the two girls he'd ever possibly confide in, but he's already decided today is all about Ururaka. She's new and his experience is only going to serve her today - that's what he's telling himself.

Meanwhile, Jack the Noivern does not give a shit and is currently trying to give the equivalent of intimidating kissy-faces to Cleffa, licking her maw and winking as the baby puffs up. How cute! She's settled flat on her belly with her wings splayed out on the ground and her tail lashing amusedly. Kirishima told her not to do anything physical - she got that with his shove and command - but she can still be a little shit. Of course, she's also just testing Cleffa; none of her responses to a clearly outmatching Pokemon is wrong, just... marked, maybe. ]

Yeah! That's Jack. I raised her since she was as big as your Cleffa. She's a, huh... a prankster?

[ He reaches out an arm like a shepherd's gentle staff to direct her towards the nearest tree with shade. ]

She means well, I promise! But she really likes to scare people. I'm sorry she did that to you...

[ Kirishima has already let his backpack fold around his front and is now picking out a small, red bento box. ]

[It most certainly will help Ochako a lot. Kirishima's experience and his very presence alone is helping, and while not super close to one another, Ochako definitely sees her redheaded friend as being the sturdy, supportive wall that holds up their class. He's always reassuring or helping people out, always there to lend a hand, and he's always just so positive and a delight to be around. It's why Ochako trusts him so much, and seems to calm down quicker around him - Kirishima just has that kind of ability. He makes Ochako feel relaxed, and safe. Maybe because he's just to earnest and kind - a lot like herself - that they just sort of feed off each other that way. She couldn't say exactly, but...well, no pun intended at all, but he really is her rock, and Ochako appreciates him so, so much.

Jack certainly is...something. even as Ochako watches the two Pokemon stand off, she can't help but snicker as Cleffa does as she threatened to do and is swats that long tongue away with her tiny arms, making loud squeaking noises like a hassled dog toy or something.]

Ehehe, she's kind of cute now that I can really look at her. But wow...these things really get that bi--

[Wait. Wait, Kirishima raised her since she was young? For how long? Glancing between her Cleffa and the huge bat-dragon, Ochako's smile vanishes again as she frowns in thought. That can't be right, she just saw her friend a little while ago. Maybe just a few days ago, before winter break break started and she began her Work Study with Ryukyu-san. For something to grow as big as Jack...that'd take a while, wouldn't it?]

M-Mm, yeah...I think sitting down would be best. I-I feel like there's a lot I'm, um...missing. [Ochako follows after her friend, taking a seat on some soft grass with her own backpack by her feet and she just...quietly pokes at the pads on her fingers. Slowly. One by one.]
