[ Brynhildr's own Vulpix picks up on the loud cawing, seemingly unamused by how ugly a sound came from it's beak. It looks over at the Pokemon, with a sharp look. Though it is not a judging view, it merely is casting a glance as if to say, 'Dont you dare'

Whatever that may mean, Brynhildr on the other hand. Quietly stared toward the new lad, and welcomes the conversation that would come from it. Her voice is soft and subtle, even mannered her expression. ]

... I am okay... Merely lost.... I am learning about the area, and ... Found myself wandering far too long...

[ Oh boy, oh boy. While it wasn't quite the same, he had worked with animals long enough to know that things could get really bad, really fast. Rudy reached up to give Mory a pat in the hopes that would get her to settle a bit. ]

C'mon, Mory. Let's try to get along. Okay?

[ Mory simply turned her head in a huff. If it was possible for her to pout, she probably would have, but hey, that was still better than the alternative. Rudy's smile was apologetic in response, but hearing about Brynhildr's plight quickly changed that. ]

You're lost? I can try to help you get out of the forest, but I'm still getting my bearings too...

[ The Vulpix feels as if it won that battle, and promptly settles quaintly. Brynhildr takes in the words of the other. Welcomed to the fact that, she could find herself thinking clearly unlike before. ]

... Are you not from this world...?

[ Rudy's face fell into an expression that was equal parts surprise and fear. He had outed himself as a person who didn't belong. Even if she was in the same position as well, that anxiety still didn't go away. He knew now that there were people who did and could accept him, but those emotional wounds, while on the mend, still needed more time to heal.

Other than that, Rudy only shook his head weakly. ]

I...I'm not. The world I'm from is called Filgaia. I'm not sure how I got here from there.

[ Taking note of his expression, she ignores the statement that was an answer to her rightful question. As a being whoms judgement of humankind, mattered on the information retained on each person. She was more keen on understanding who he was, to see him for his worth. Not converse with him, on the fact that they were essentially kidnapped victims from their respective world. Brynhildr would question that of course, but the expressive tell of his face. Told a story, she wished to know. ]

[ Rudy looked away and rubbed the back of his neck. He was...really bad at this kind of thing, particularly so with someone he didn't know well. Being here alone without Jack and Cecilia didn't help things either. ]

It's okay. [ Out came the apologetic smile again. ] You couldn't have known about that, so don't worry about it.

[ Brynhildr retorts, her eyes strong upon him. They do not waiver watching as his own uncomfortable were laid for her to see. The Valkyrie does not press upon it, instead looking back toward the Skarmory.]

... If you too were just brought here.... Then we are in the same predicament...

Looks that way, yeah...

[ Ahhhhh, she totally didn't believe it was nothing. Or at least that was what Rudy thought. It was just something about that look that made him feel like he was a mouse caught in a trap, though he still knew that wasn't a fair assumption to make about something he had only just met. As if sensing Rudy's discomfort, Mory nudged Rudy before meeting Brynhildr's gaze. It wasn't a threatening look, but certainly a wary one. ]

At least we've both got a companion here instead of being alone. [ Rudy glanced up at Mory, his shoulders relaxing some before turning his attention to the Vulpix. ] Yours is cute.

[ Of course, Mory would give a huff at those words. Gosh, she's standing right there next to you, Rudy. ]

[The threatening look given by the Skarmory is met with a plain expression of her own. She looks toward it, unmoved, undeterred, acknowledging its strength and loyalty.]

.... Yes... I would not want to be alone....

[Brynhildr looks over to her companion, who seems content to settle upon its back legs. Allowing the three to have their exchanges.]
