Kind of makes me wonder who was raising Armbrust and Ba'al before they were given to us, but perhaps the information is irrelevant. They're our partners now, whether we want to be on this journey or not. [She's already been loosely threatened by her Pokémon to do some battling on the road.] Could be a mixture of both? So far anything I've seen in the wild wants to fight, but each Pokémon does things differently.
[While she'd normally be hesitant to chat with another stranger, she can respect Gretel's ideas and viewpoints. Though she doesn't smile, there's something in the way Olivia stares into the camera that hints at compliance.] Did you hear about the thugs running around trying to steal Pokémon? People call them Team Rocket. Being able to fight back against even the pettiest criminal is important in this world. [In other words...] I'd sign up for any self-defense course you offer. Not sure what I could offer in compensation, but you've got the right idea.

[Which is the main reason she's staying open-minded and not, you know, freaked out as fuck by these little "cages".
Compliance is good, Gretel appreciates it. People not listening to her experience is a big pet peeve of hers.]
I did hear of them - was quick proof that this world isn't as utopian as it looks, even if it is a huge improvement over many others. [Aka her own. Olivia's interest gets a nod and a little smile.] Thanks - having support on the planning stage is encouraging and a promising start. As far as compensation goes, money works as well here as it did in my land, I noticed. I'm not the kind to keep trinkets with me. [Always a practical gal.] But if that's an issue, I'm sure we can reach some kind of agreement.
