Is she okay being held like that? That looks like it might hurt a bit. [At least, that’s what he’s assuming. Ryou’s really not familiar with Mawile.]

It is quite fine for her, I assure you, [Gongenzaka insists, with at least a small amount of kindness. The mawile for now, is crossing her arms and pouting.]

She is a very strong pokemon! Though unfortunately as well to a point, strong willed...

Ah, I’ve been here a bit longer than that, for several weeks now. I only just got here from Goldenrod, and that was a few days away from here.

[It sucks having to walk everywhere, but there’s no other real choice in the matter for now.

The Yamask, still focused on the Mawile in Gongenzaka’s hand, decides to...just sort of bat gently at the dangling Steel type’s body. Surely this can’t go wrong?]

Mmn! Indeed- it is quite some distance, and requires experience camping for certain.

[Ryou’s about to respond, but the kicking gets his attention, forcing him to scramble to rein in his Yamask.]

[Unfortunately, grabbing the Yamask in question is a little tough when the Pokémon in question is a Ghost type, and so Ryou has to grab the little guy by the runestone to get it to stop.

The Yamask, for it’s part in all this, just thinks this is amusing. The benefits of not being harmed by a kicking Mawile.]
