[Cleaning floors is an odd job Yuya can handle, and money for lodging sure beats sleeping outside in the rain. Again.

It's dull work, but work he puts effort into a decent scrub... until Gon's zigzagoon rockets across the floor.

He grins, rolls forward on his toes, and proceeds to dash after it.

Gon may also be 14 but, him aside, the monks aren't exactly wrong.]

NO!!!

The monks of course, are slowly shaking their heads as Gongenzaka stares in...well. Not shock. No, he honestly about expected this from Yuuya. But he is staring in what perhaps amounts to exaggerated hurt.

(Perhaps not exaggerated in his case-)] Y-Yuuya..! [Why!!!] I just finished explaining to Mujina, and now you are doing the same..!!

[hippocarnival]

[Yuya laughs as he reaches the wall, barely slowing to a stop before he can collide with it.]

We could race and see who can clean the floor the fastest! [He looks at Mujina, who he is not sure can understand human speech but that never stopped him from talking to any of his pets.] You'd think that's fun, right?

[betheman]

[Mujina, of course, is cheerfully nodding at top speed. Gongenzaka just groans and puts his head in his hand.]

If you are racing, you are not cleaning it properly though..! Look, Yuuya, there is still dust behind you!

We'll go back over it! [He twists around so he can get in position to dash again, waiting to see if Mujina will copy him.]

[Hahhhh. Ultimately, Gongenzaka can only sigh at his best friend's antics while getting back to his own cleaning. At the very least after all-] ...Well, as long as something good is being done at the least...

[A pointed frown toward the little pokeball currently sitting at the side, with a bit of sticky tape over it to boot.] Though, I, the man Gongenzaka, am wondering where your own companion has wandered to then...

On your mark, get set... eh? [Yuya pauses, as if it's only just now occurred to him. Not that his yamper was doing any actual assistance with those stubby little legs, but Yuya felt bad about just... leaving it inside some little ball all the time.

He looks left, then right.] ... Where did he go?

Y- You lost them!?

[The monks now appear Even More Scolding, if that were somehow possible.]

Yuuya- the tower could be dangerous if they stray too far! We need to locate them quickly then!

I didn't think he'd just run off! [Yuya scrambles up right so he can run to his pack, like if he picks it up his pokemon will mysteriously appear under it.] Where did you go?!

[betheman]

[The monks are quick to act- really young man, calm down, they can send someone to find the yamper and also for shame keep a better eye on your pokemon-

But Gongenzaka is quick but steady- coming over and placing a hand on Yuuya's shoulder, shaking his head.] Yuuya-! Panic will get us nowhere; we know they are in the building, do we not?

So then, we must search now! [Or perhaps there is still panic after all. Gongenzaka is like that after all, and to that end he turns to the monks.] It should be permisable to search at least the next floor up if necessary, yes?

[To Gongenzaka's loud request, the monk nearest merely stares.]

I should think with a yamper's legs, this current floor will be fine.

[ah] Gkh- Th...that is indeed a fair point...

Yeah, he couldn't have gone far... [Still, Yuya feels a little bad, like he's been a poor owner.] Okay, let's look. I'll go this way. [He points to the left.]

[betheman]

Hm! [Sounds like a plan-]

We can have Mujina help as well, then; as they are similar in size, he can follow after through any small spaces, yes?

[hippocarnival]

Yeah... [Yuya hopes he's just in a small space, and didn't end up on one of the floors with gaps he could fall through.] Okay! Let's go.

[He turns on his heels to march left, filled with the determination to find his yamper before he gets into trouble.]

[betheman]

Alright!

[Off they go then. The main floor is simple, but for a corgi-bodied yamper, that's plenty enough. As it is, the main floor also has a number of visitors at any given time of the day.

Which might explain where the yamper went, given that, like so many a yamper, he most certainly loves pets.]

[And Yuya's eyes are fixed on the floor, anticipating that he probably can't get very high up things with those stubby legs.] Excuse me, coming through...

[of course, while Yuya pushes through the visitor crowd towards the front of the floor, Gongenzaka might catch around some boxes on the opposite end, a wiggly yellow tail.]

[AHA!

Tail! Spotted! Spot!

Being tackled] Hmm! There you are, then-!!

[Boy it will Suck if that is Not Yamper!]

[It is Yamper!

But it's still going to suck because as soon as he's grabbed, he lets out a panicked yelp and sends off a spark of electricity from around his body.]

NYYHGK-

GGURUUAAAAARGH!!

[OH!! THAT'S A SHOCK! THAT'S A VIOLENT SHOCK!!!

HE'S NOT LETTING GO BUT THAT SURE HITS!]

[The yamper whines pitifully as it flails in Gongenzaka's arms.

Of course, at the screaming Yuya comes running their direction, just about barreling through the crowd and scuffing the floor they've already cleaned.] Gongenzaka! What happened--did you find him?
