[ having the time of your life and spending your savings away for that lovely dratini? or maybe you just like to spin those slots and win big. one way or another, you’re at the game corner— and you’re having a great time. so much gaming, whether winning or losing, might weigh down on thirst and hunger, doesn’t it? don’t worry about that! not only is makima a lovely lady, she’s also good with her tongue. in a company sense, of course. she’s working the bar and knows well when one needs either a celebratory drink or something to drown out the frustration. ]

It’s rude to stalk a lady, you know— at this hour, no less.

[Gambling has never really been a hobby Olivia has ever partaken in, the realistic concept of losing money under the guise of winning big is a trap she can see through clearly. Being in a Pokemon-driven world doesn't change that outlook, but it has been interesting observing the different types of games played. Slot machines are an easy pass, but she does spend an hour dabbling with Voltorb Flip, enjoying the concept of using her brain to solve mathematical problems.

Sadly, after an hour of playing with moderate success, she learns that winning a Porygon here is impossible, after talking with a younger staff member. She'd need to travel to Kanto for such an elusive creature. Slightly frustrated at the lack of information from the start, her playtime halts within minutes.

Instead of immediately leaving, she takes a seat at the bar quietly, glancing at the back wall full of unrecognizable bottles. At least alcohol is a universal concept in a world full of mystical monsters, though she'd probably do better trying to avoid her vice of choice. No changing her mind now. Looking the part in her new wardrobe, her grey eyes shift away from the atmosphere to greet Makima properly and to answer her question.]

I'll take something strong, please. [She reaches into her pocket for the standard issued Poke'gear which doubles as her ID, ready to present it if requested.] Thank you.
