Are different times a thing here? People from the same world coming from a different time?

It does seem like that can happen....

[That would certainly make things awkward, especially in a case like Levi's....]

Well that explains a few things then....why half of my team is suddenly green again.

[He grumbles slightly not too thrilled by it, but at least they're here. So it is something.]

Heh. [Jean's lip twitches, almost a smile.] Not a bad assumption. Armin's Gym is on it's own rock out in the middle of the ocean. But you'll soon find that there're beaches everywhere in these parts.

You can get your own Gym? Interesting. Sounds like he's taken this life style to the heart.

I'm being over generouse on saying half. I'm aware that there are at least two of my members, but I believe there are a few more. Do you have any people from your world?

There's several from my planet, but so far I've only found one from my specific time period and area.

Sounds like one big heaache.

Yeah. I'm hoping I'll find more, but who knows. Although time is at least supposed to stand still back home, so there shouldn't be a lot of extra chaos when we go back.

There are gyms along the way where people earn badges for winning battles. Then, you challenge the Elite Four to become Champion. So, that seems to be the main purpose.

Seems kind of boring and repetitive. I don't fully understand the point to being forced to doing this. Especially after having from from fighting Titans to now training pocket sized creatures.

[He gave an exasperated sigh. Togepi again was squirming around in his arms so he finally put the Pokemon down. It appeared to be more excited at meeting the other person in the screen.]

Yes, all of those could taken into consideration. Older, stronger pokemon are apparently less likely to listen to newer trainers if you manage to obtain one above your current skill level, if I understand correctly.

[Good, and if Togepi did attempt to go exploring, Foudre would quickly herd it back. No getting away from trainer when you are small and slow! Otherwise, she'd - carefully - play with the Togepi]

[Oh, she's a natural at living off the land, though Ysayle would hardly consider that... boast-worthy. Instead, she simply nods. It's evident that she's taking everything Radley provides her seriously. That she's turning it all over in her head. Ysayle does not make irrational decisions, though some objectively might disagree. To her, they're all well-thought out.]

Understood. [She agrees tersely.] I will take the necessary precautions in any travelling I intend to do. [And it sounds like she'll have quite the travel ahead of her. This is normally the part of the conversation where one would offer thanks for the assistance, but evidently her pride is not willing to let that happen. Especially not with someone she's not familiar with.] Is there anything more, or will that be all?

[Stalwart faith. A heavy thought, though not an inaccurate assessment of her person. Many who have perceived her actions would not label them thus. That Aymeric is capable of seeing what she was trying to do, all that she intended and aimed for, even forced to horrid means...

He hardly knows her and yet simultaneously, it's as if he knows her far better than so many of their fellow kin. She can only eye him, doubtlessly tired, uncertain, wary, sceptical, and drawn into a momentary bout of speechlessness.

She does not accept praise well. Or recognition. Her desires had nothing to do with legacy. She never wanted to be a hero. She never wanted to be an example. She only ever wanted to do what she believed was the right course of action. She only ever wanted to protect the less fortunate.

So instead of words, she simply dips her chin in a subtle acknowledgement. An acceptance of his... kindness, if that's what she wishes to consider it. His words proceed, offer appropriate distraction and that too, she doesn't respond to with haste.]

He has made a similar offer. [He. Estinien, she means.] I have been apprehensive to accept. [For her own personal reasons, which are things she doesn't wish to put on Aymeric, Estinien, or any of the rest of their esteemed company.] I would travel with you all, provided that it will not be an imposition. [At his word, Jean arrived shortly, riding his Mega-Pidgeot. She was his top flier, and fast as a bullet. As he landed and dismounted, he took off his riding goggles. His face was beet red from being whipped by the wind, but the area around his eyes where his goggles laid was normal, giving him a raccoon look. His hair was blown straight back too.]

Captain. [Jean gave a relaxed salute. He'd been in this squad long enough to feel fairly at ease around Levi.] This is gonna sound weird, but it's good to see you.

[Levi gave a salute in return and didn't seem to mind that it was relaxed. Really with how things were here he wasn't expecing a lot of formality at this point. It would probably depend on the situation on how formal he wanted things.

Regardless, it was appreciated. It was also good seeing a familiar face and someone who was close toward his time. The comment earned a smirk/almost smile from Levi.]

I think you've been here too long to be saying something like that.

[Of course Togepi had to make noise and try to struggle in Levi's arms and meet Jean and the big bird like Pokemon. This was going to probably be a thing]

Appearantly this creature here is a Togepi...and seems to be connected with me. Why I don't know. I'm the worst caretaker there is. But it wants to be friend very person and Pokemon it sees. Say hi to it maybe we can move on to the main point of the meeting.

They have social events from time to time, contests for the Pokemon to perform in and something called Prom that's for all the displaced people. I hear it always goes wrong, though, like last time the local criminal organization crashed the party and caused a lot of trouble. Oh yeah, if you haven't heard about Team Rocket yet, they like to steal Pokemon. I'm hoping they'll leave me alone. They like to go after rare Pokemon or people with a lot of them. But be careful anyway. It's not always easy to tell who their members are.

I suppose I need to figure out how to train this one. I think it's way too young to even think about basic training that a regular Pokemon would need? I keep hearing about these Gyms and badges you're supposed to collect.

[Levi gave an agravated sigh. This life style really was't his. Yet, as he watched the two Pokemon interact he could see why people enjoyed it. Foudre seemed to be pretty protective of Togepi and was very careful with her and even herded the Pokemon back when it tried to explore.]

I'm really the worst caretaker there is. And I was given something that can't even fight.

That's one less worry. What happens to what we've done here if we do get to go home?

I'm not sure of that, either. I've heard our Pokemon either get passed on to friends still here or go to a ranch where ownerless Pokemon end up. I wish mine could come back with me, but it looks like that isn't done.

Mmm, you do make a fair point. Communication is much more important for Pokemon than any creature I can think of back home...save mankind itself, or dragons, of course.

It does not surprise me, that we are of the same mind. [It comes with the territory of knowing Estinien so well. His read might not always be perfect, but with matters like these, more often than not he seems to have the right of it. The assurance that he has had the right inclination is appreciated, though he certainly does not feel the need to vocalize as much.]

'Twould not be any sort of burden. [Still, he won't press the matter any further. She's accepted their company, he can compromise by not insisting on ferrying her everywhere.] The journey is yours to make as you see fit. We can maintain our current position and wait for you to join us in due time.

[He hesitates for a moment, fingers knitting together below the frame of the camera.]

And should you find that the company is too much to bear, you need only say the word. Or, failing that, I have learned that there is a ship that departs from the city you would have arrived in. It will take you across a channel and into an entirely different land. It is space enough for you to avoid us, should you simply be sparing us our feelings.

It probably wouldn't be able to survive outside this world. This world caters toward them. I don't think any of our worlds would be able to support it.
