[Radley tries to greet everyone who sends a message over the network. At first he's occupied with getting his supplies together to leave Violet City and go North, but he perks up to hear Spanish on the PokeGear. He picks up the device and watches the video, chuckling at Bruno imitating a Slowpoke voice.]

Hola! Welcome to this strange and unusual place. I'm Radley. I see you've got a couple of buddies there.

[It's still just him and Eevee, as nothing he's seen yet that tried to attack them particularly catches his eye, and he's not sure how well he could provide for multiple Pokemon. But that could always change. Maybe he'll meet a Pokemon in a strange way like Bruno did.]

[giftsohumbling]

[It may seem like a little thing, but Bruno sort of lights up when he's greeted back in his native tongue. Even in a place where language seems to somehow be a non-issue, hearing something that he's so very accustomed to in such an otherwise unfamiliar place... It helps.]

Those are good words to describe it. [He chuckles, this time less awkwardly.] Have you been here long?

Oh, let's see.... I think close to two weeks now. I've been moving slowly, getting used to everything before I go too deeply in. I'm heading for Goldenrod City now, though. You must be on the Southern route to get there. I was planning to take the Northern route, if I can.

[giftsohumbling]

I might be, I'm... Accessing the map on this little device hasn't been the easiest thing. For me, at least.

That sounds really frustrating. Maybe I could try to draw you a map and show it....
