NEW BARK TOWN
[ When the woman claiming she's her mother shoves her out of the house, Senju finds it difficult to swallow down the lump in her throat, even as confused and overwhelmed as she is. ...She knows that there's no way this lady is really her mother, of course, but... well, it's not like she's ever had a mother before, either.
But the moment she steps outside is when the full weight of the situation really hits her. Before she can panic, though... she gets a good look at the Mienfoo by her side - and all of a sudden, all her questions about where she is vanish at once.
She... must be dreaming, right? There's no creature like that that exists in Japan - no, that exists in the world at all. She's sure she would've seen a creature like this one before, even if just on TV or something! The panic Senju feels about being kidnapped - because that's the only explanation, isn't it? - is still there in her mind, but this situation is so outright bizarre that it's difficult to feel anything but bafflement about what's happening.
Abruptly, Senju sits cross-legged on the floor, hoping to get a better look at the strange creature beside her. It makes a noise like nothing she's ever heard before, and as she stares at it... and it stares back... it almost looks like some kind of staring contest is taking place between them. In fact, she's so focused on the creature that she's unlikely to notice anyone approaching her now... so you might need to get her attention somehow. ]
NETWORK [ VIDEO ]
[ So, Senju's still pretty sure she might be dreaming - but all this feels way too real to be a dream, so she might as well treat it as reality for now, right? That's why she's making this video. ]
Uh... hi! [ The video begins. Senju sits with her Mienfoo in her lap, looking unsure of herself. It's a little difficult to determine her gender just from looking, and her voice doesn't help matters, either. ]
I was told that I'm not the only one in this situation, so... I wanted to let everyone know who I am. My name is Senju Kawaragi. Oh, and, uh, this guy's my partner, it seems! [ After introducing herself, she seems to gain more confidence, and continues the rest of her speech in a steadier tone. ]
There's none of you out there who've heard of me, right? [ ...Saying that out loud feels a little arrogant, but she has to make sure. ] I don't think it's likely, but if you're out there, Takeomi... or anyone who knows who I am, get in contact, okay? You're not alone.
[ For a moment, she wonders- should she contact Haruchiyo, too? But... no.
He wouldn't respond, anyway. ]
To everyone else, I hope we can get along. If you've been here for a while, I'd appreciate any advice!

Hi there! I'm Radley. I'm sorry, I haven't heard of you, but there could be someone here who has.
So this world is a place to train and raise these cute animals. They like to battle, but I'm planning to breed them instead. I'm not real big on letting animals duke it out, even if they like it. They have some really wild attacks. I'm not familiar with the one you've got. My girl has ground-based attacks like Tackle.
[His Eevee pops up to say Hello.]

[ Well, that's something Senju can relate to. She looks over again at her Mienfoo, who looks back at her innocently. Can such a small creature really be that powerful? ...Though, Senju herself doesn't look all too strong at a glance, either - but underestimating her in a fight is generally a bad idea.
As the Eevee shows herself, Senju's face splits into a wide grin. ]
Aww, she's so cute! [ Her eyes sparkle as she admires the Eevee, and she suddenly looks a bit like a little kid in a theme park. ] Does she have a name?

She sure is. I call her Evie. E-V-I-E. It's a name where I'm from. But it sounds the same as what her species is called, so it's not too creative.
[He laughs, rubbing the back of his neck.]

[ Senju looks down at her Mienfoo, who doesn't seem to be paying much attention to the video. ]
This little guy needs a name, too... I haven't figured out what to call him yet.
[ Then, looking up at Radley's Eevee again- ]
But really, she's adorable! Ahhh, it's a shame I can't stroke her right now! I bet she's super fluffy, right!?

Yeah, Evie's great. This ruff around her neck is really thick and fluffy. I have to keep it brushed daily.
Maybe we can meet up sometime! I'm in Goldenrod right now, but I'm planning I might travel some more now that I have a bike.
New Bark Town
Suddenly the sound of footsteps can heard as some steps in front of them ]
Dammit! How am I supposed to keep track of you!?
[Ghastly laughs as he phases through a nearby wall into a building Saki lets an annoyed sigh as turns and sees another startled girl and her...weasel thing.]
...Dammit, sorry about that. Kinda new to this.

[ Startled by the Pokemon's sudden appearance, Senju lurches back and almost topples over in surprise.
And, okay, now she's sure she's going crazy. The first creature might've just been a rare species she'd never heard of, but there's no way that a ball of gas with a face is anything from this world - especially not one that can pass through walls!!
She scrambles to her feet, looking around wildly before noticing Saki for the first time. In any other situation, Senju might've instantly tensed up as soon as she saw her, preparing for a fight - but now, she's not so sure that this is really a kidnapping like she first thought. Could she have... no, that's absurd, right...? There's no way this is another world. ]
Don't- worry about it...? [ Her reply, which is somewhat automatic, comes out somewhere between a question and a statement, and as Senju stands and turns to face the other girl, it's obvious just how baffled she is. And then, without even really thinking, questions start tumbling out of her mouth. ]
But- what was that thing? Where are we? Who are you?

I'll start with the easy one, name's Saki; Saki Nikaido
As for the other two questions...this is gonna sound crazy as hell, but I think we're in a video game.
[She has never been one to care about that kind of stuff, but she's observant enough to know certain games exist at the very least, notably whenever there's an event for her Tamagotchi]

[ Huh. Maybe they're in some kind of virtual reality? That's still pretty crazy, and Senju doesn't have any clue how virtual reality could feel this realistic, but maybe it could be the case. Then, as if a switch has been flipped, Senju suddenly beams, and exclaims- ]
That'd be so cool!! Do you really think that's possible?
