[Someone had just recently figured out how to create a cute username on the network.]

Oh, hello! That's a very cute little Pokémon. And, yes... everyone who arrives has one when they wake up. The bag will have some supplies in it supplied by the Mom you were kicked out by in New Bark.

[That was a horrible way of putting it.]

Well, not so much kicked out... just... sent on your journey.

.....So this is supposed to be some kind of journey to train these creatures? Why did they need us to do this?

[Levi made an annoyed face. He was finding that he was making this face quiet a bit since arrival.

He didn't stay too long in New Bark. It didn't have the answers he was seeking so he had went to explore the area trying to figure out things on his own. Granted it wasn't going too great.]

[Romelle nodded.] It certainly seems that way. That's the impression I've gotten.

There are gyms along the way where people earn badges for winning battles. Then, you challenge the Elite Four to become Champion. So, that seems to be the main purpose.

Seems kind of boring and repetitive. I don't fully understand the point to being forced to doing this. Especially after having from from fighting Titans to now training pocket sized creatures.

[He gave an exasperated sigh. Togepi again was squirming around in his arms so he finally put the Pokemon down. It appeared to be more excited at meeting the other person in the screen.]

Well, no one is truly forced into doing it. It's just the culture of this world, I think. But, you don't have to do the gym challenge if you don't want to. You can focus on breeding Pokémon or even doing something else, like being a ranger or working at one of the businesses around the area.

[Romelle smiled a little.]

It's up to your preferences, really, but I do know that some Pokémon do really like the battle part.

This is good to note...I suppose I will have to figure that out eventually. What path are you going for?

Well, I'm currently going through the gym challenge. Not sure what I'll do after that, though. I figure that I'll make that decision once I get there.
