Aww, the little guy likes you. And he's kinda yours for as long as you're here. Honestly, I'd be happy to take him, but that's not how it works. And you're really gonna need a Pokemon the longer you're here. So far, no one's figured out how to voluntarily leave.

[Ysayle takes some time to watch her lapras. She never asked and it seems like the lapras isn't inclined to answer her aside from it's... cute little noises that it seems to enjoy offering.
There's more important information in what he has to say, but evidently figuring out what to call this very endearing animal is more important.]

[Or it's what he remembers most from the franchise back home. It always bugged him.]

Are there others here who are capable of determining whether this creature is a he or a she?
[If she's stuck with it, it'll probably need a name. Knowing what it is will likely help.]

[Very, very begrudgingly.]
Is there other necessary information you would see fit to provide to one who has only recently arrived?

[He ponders.]
I don't know how used you are to staying outdoors, but a tent would be good if you don't have one yet. Some of these paths are longer than they look on the map. There's a giant forest I bypassed altogether because I wasn't up for that kinda trek. It takes several days to get through it, and the trees are so thick the sun doesn't come through. It always looks like night in there, or so they say. There's several big caves and mountain paths too.

Understood. [She agrees tersely.] I will take the necessary precautions in any travelling I intend to do. [And it sounds like she'll have quite the travel ahead of her. This is normally the part of the conversation where one would offer thanks for the assistance, but evidently her pride is not willing to let that happen. Especially not with someone she's not familiar with.] Is there anything more, or will that be all?
[And of course she doesn't provide him with that.]

[Ysayle, for just a moment, looks transparently surprised. So it's not all vibrant, lovely, cheerful things here. She supposes it would be unrealistic to expect something like that, though she's held very few expectations about this place thus far. Still...]
I will take careful stock of myself. And of those I am in the company of.
[Given that those who followed her were likened to criminals, she cannot help but wonder if there is some grave misunderstanding at play here. There is always more than what an initial glance would provide.]

Offhand, I can't think of anything else to tell you.

[She still isn't going to say 'thank you,' but she is, at the very least, appreciative.]

[Radley might ordinarily make some mocking comment about the lack of saying thank you, but he doesn't feel much up to it now.]
