So he was pleased to see that Foudre had no such intentions and went up to Togepi happily and gave it a little nuzzle]
It seems to depend on the individual and perhaps on the kind as a whole. I have noticed that generally they are sociable. Foudre seems to be less sociable with wild Pokemon, but is better with ones that have a trainer.
[Maybe because chasing around wild pokemon was free game since only her partner could object to that]

[Levi commented as he continued to observe the two Pokemon playing. It looked as if Foudre was going to treat Togepi gently sensing it being a baby. Nor was Togepi being too rough or toddling off where it shouldn't.]

[Good, and if Togepi did attempt to go exploring, Foudre would quickly herd it back. No getting away from trainer when you are small and slow! Otherwise, she'd - carefully - play with the Togepi]

[Levi gave an agravated sigh. This life style really was't his. Yet, as he watched the two Pokemon interact he could see why people enjoyed it. Foudre seemed to be pretty protective of Togepi and was very careful with her and even herded the Pokemon back when it tried to explore.]
I'm really the worst caretaker there is. And I was given something that can't even fight.

[He nodded] You are able to grow the collection of creatures that travel with you so while your partner might not currently be a good fighter, there are others.
[Ulaz was pleased to see that Foudre was being gentle with the other pokemon and stopping it from potentially wandering off by getting between Togepi and where it was trying to go, guiding it back in their direction]
It is a learning experience then, I suppose.
