[Well, that wasn't quite the answer he was hoping for, but a gentleman is never one to turn his nose at a charming young lady like the one who offered her hand. Layton settles for a smile, taking her hand in his and giving a warm handshake.]

Pleasure to meet you, my dear. [He retracts his hand, finally letting go of his hat to once again fetch his pen and Journal. It's very plain to see that it's seen its fair share of adventures. The front cover sports an emblem, one that those of Hershel's London would recognize as Gressenheller University's crest.]
